In 2 days (29-01-2014), we are releasing an importaint upgrade of the LeproCoin Wallet! It will come out with following improvements
over the old version:

- The transaction fees are going to be reduced strongly!

- LPC is going to introduce the adoptive diff change as a protection against multipools (Kimoto Gravity Well algorythm)
- Minor layout and design changes


Due to extensive changes of the core structure it will be necessary to install the new version directly after the release!

update looks good...   the client on my server have only two connections to old clients and 25 to new clients...   my wallet on the pc have only connections to new clients...    two days announcment before update and over 24 hours to update made it smooth without problems...

Instructions for diff retarget (block 190.000):
1. Download the new wallet.
2. Delete the peer.dat in your leprocoin folder.
3. Edit your leprocoin.conf: delete the old addnode lines and take a few from here ---> http://leprocoin.org/forum/threads/new-addnode-with-new-client.8/

or select randomly max. 4 from these addnodes:

Mining Solo:

1. Start up leprocoin-qt, wait for it to load, then exit.
2. Put leprocoin.conf (see sample file below) in your c:/users/yourcomputername/AppData/Roaming/Leprocoin
3. Restart leprocoin-qt, and you should connect and sync.
4. For solo mining, launch cgminer or the mining program you use and begin mining.

downloaded the new wallet and already sync, i don't hope the diff increases that fast now

at the change block we had a block time of 8 sec and a 0.055diff. After 60 Blocks diiff has doubled now at blocktime is rising.
Also there is now a nethash of 45M

edit : nethash back @ 25M and diff falling. Seems like somebody is testing if everything works fine. it does

Something is disturbing me from the first day I heard about this coin: what does "lepro" mean , or what is the inspiration behind the name? Because I keep associating lepro with leprosy (the dark age dissease) in my mind and it is very disturbing:)))

"lepro" comes from leprosorium, it's indeed a place where people with leprosy live.
leprosorium has also another meaning - closed commmunity of abadoned ppl.
And leprosorium.ru is a well known closed russian community, as popular as 4chan or reddit in europe/usa.
leprocoin was born to be used in the community but because of some problems with the website-owner we parted
and now have got our very own community around the coin. Thats the story in short )
