BatCoin Pool 1 million+ BAT Competition!

Commencing at midnight 16th March 2014 GMT, I will start coinagepools first competition.

To make it fair for contributors big and small I will be randomly selecting users every day to win free Batcoin out of the following categories:
-100,000 BAT for the random user contributing 250 to 1 Mhash/s
-250,000 BAT for the random user contributing over 1 Mhash/s
-600,000 BAT for the user with the most guano blocks by day 7

Rules:
- No cheating by creating multiple accounts (I wont be checking IP addresses unless there is something clearly dubious)
- Bonus 50000 Bat for winners that have comic themed user names

How will it work:
1. Every day I will take the user lists and run a random number generator to select the winner.
2. I will post the censored winners here
3. Everyone's a winner as NW hash gets evened out for a while!

Right now theres only 8 active miners on coinagepools so chances of winning are excellent! This is a low diff competition!

Got pool users complaining about not receiving pay-outs, most likely they are on the wrong fork but cannot prove without a block explorer

Must be individual users not upgrading as I havent had any complaints, and both my test wallets are working fine sending and receiving.

Overall a smooth upgrade. Would love to see a scrypt-N update now - perhaps not so easy/possible though.

n-scrypt is a harder algo, meaning that whoever mined up until now, is becoming kind of a "instaminer" if we will change to n-scrypt.

you can say "its their problem they did not join from the start" but its one side, the other side will think "it doesn't worth to join when there are people who got to mine so much with a much easier algo" etc etc..
that is just how i see it as for now, i could be wrong

if we do it now, 0day miners will become instaminers, the coin is alive for a short period of time and it is unfair to newcomers

That was my problem with the KDC reward change - it just made a brutal advantage for the 'bagholders' and offered nothing to new folk...

I think you're wrong. If you change the algo to Scrypt-N, everybody will have like ~50% of the hashrate, meaning that the difficulty would be the half, so you would get the same coins as scrypt.

BatCoin IPO Program

Goals:

1. get Batcoin to be listed on Cryptsy
2. rise the BTC that we need to pass Cryptsy voting ASAP
3. proft the BatShare holders
4. Dark Knight


Steps:

1. we are going to sell 100M BatShares (represented as BatCoins) for 7 satoshi each

2. the BTC earned from the previous step will be used strictly for Cryptsy voting, you will be able to follow the btc with blockchain.info

3. BatCoin will reach the first positions on the voting list and this will make people will start to invest and bat value will rise accordingly

4. BatCoin will enter the Cryptsy world

5. 15 days after the day bat is added to crptsy, the BatShare holders will be rewarded by this way:

 *BatShares will be bought back at the price represented by this formula CurrentPrice + CurrentPrice-7,meaning we will double the difference between the prices
     so for example: you buy 10,000,000 shares at 0.7 BTC - the price goes up to 8 satoshis on cryptsy, we are buying back at 9 satoshis( 8+ 8-7) so that's 0.9 for you
 
 *IF in 30 days the price won't rise on cryptsy to at least 7 satoshis, we will buy back the shares at 7 satoshis meaning you will NOT lose BTC in any case
 
 *the list of the batShare holders will be publicly available (with censored usernames) trough google docs or a similar platform
