I have many thoughts on my mind one of this is until now I can't believe why some people is really brave and confident to do or spread some negative or fake news just to destroyed others. Specially to Bitcoin, it's hard to think that others are continuously making fake and negative news about it even if this system only wants to give us a huge of benefits and opportunities in short, Bitcoin has only a good purpose which helping people to have much more easier and convenient life. So I think we need to do something to stop spreading fake news all over the world so all of us can live much better.

i am not against people who do the fake news. i am against what they do. there times that people are just influenced and are being paid for to make fake news. that is what they do for a living whihc in return is not good. |

I somewhat disagree with this because having the news source centralized to one place but a proper news agency that publishes proper articles that are well researched and well written and most importantly are unbiased is a lot better than having a decentralized place where everyone can go spam and spread any kind of news they want. it will be the same story all over again with the spreading of lots of false news by random and anonymous people on this blockchain. it also has a lot of attack vectors.

Maybe it's just people who do not want to see Bitcoin's success, so they spread bad news about Bitcoin, but I'm sure everyone who uses Bitcoin will not believe this bad news because I think now many people want to drop Bitcoin for personal gain. so keep thinking positive and do not believe it when the bad news comes. |

Yes no more fake news, because its not good in one country. Because if fake news will spread all people will be panic in no reasons. Just like bitcoin more fake news are spreading. Even its not true. So no more fake news, why we spread good news rather than bad news. |

True, anyone could easily submit any news as long as they have the required tokens and they could bribe the people involved in the platform to get their content approved and posted. Yes no more fake news, because its not good in one country. Because if fake news will spread all people will be panic in no reasons. Just like bitcoin more fake news are spreading. Even its not true. So no more fake news, why we spread good news rather than bad news.
It's not guarantee that there won't be any fake news after this it could lessen but I doubt that it'll stop, people could still post their articles in different places to get attention just like this forum for example. |

This method does not eliminate the fact that people can spam fake news in there. Just because it is blockchain powered proves nothing. Look at today's world, now even if you have influence good one over social media you could spread fake news easily and quickly this solution doesn't solve the issue to my mind. Fake news will exist in the future even if there are methods that try to stop it because always you will going to have people with deep pocket with tons of money who will like to spread some fake news because of their own benefit. |

Politics should strongly implement that it should be no more fake news to the whole wide world because fake news isn't helpful to people specially to bitcoins. They always says negative about bitcoins. Politics is politics. It will be always dirty because of those greedy bastards that wants something that will benefit themselves. The biggest problem with fake news is that when it comes to mass media, people easily digest it as a truth and never research if that is the real truth. Only few individuals are making steps to search for the truth. Specially in my country, mass media is the primary source of people then one day this media state that bitcoin is a scam, i almost passed out laughing the other day because people are talking about it and they debate it. I hope to those who are reading this, please make a proper research before judging anything else because in the end you might regret like other people who do not invested in bitcoin years a go. |

good news if there is no fake news because fake nwes have a lot of fear and do not believe in bitcoin because they think that it is almost impossible that the hard fighter of the truth is so good that there is no false news right now. |

you are wrong, the fake news always exists, and will disturb the stability of bitcoin and crypto market.
that application only minimizes fake news. before the bitcoin received by the world, then the negative factor will always be there in the bitcoin property to drop the bitcoin price.

Decentralized platform for news means anyone can create their own article or reports and post it on that platform so I think this will not eliminate fake news. And it says that it's mission is to provide an infrastructure for political news a news, I can't imagine that politics will be ever be honest there is always manipulation of news in that sector, remember that a news will always be created by writers which is also a person, they are writers that are really honest but most are in for money, getting paid to publish a fake news. So it doesn't matter what kind of platform is that, news people can still control what they want to say in public. |

DNN and Cilvil media assigns responsibility to community members to ensure content by their standards, I know they have high standards but we cann't entrust fully to their standards. I think it's only able to minimize the spread of fake news, Fake newsmakers can still meet their standards. So there is still a gap to make fake news in this media |

unfortunately i think OP got overly excited about this little news!
as others mentioned i also think that this won't work the way it is being advertised to work. it certainly is a very interesting use of blockchain technology but unless they can find a way to prevent spam there is no way of controlling things.
remember that decentralization is not always good. for example if this forum was decentralized then it would have been filled with spam. and when there is incentive to spam (like spreading FUD) they will spend money to do it too. so even if the platform requires tokens and transactions and fees that still wouldn't prevent them.
