Why would it take a month to make an altcoin? Devs must be completely incompetent.

Takes time to get all the icons created by an artist.

It takes time to test a coin properly to make sure it is not going to fail on load.

It takes time to put all the pieces together to make a coin launch without issues as this one did.

Taking a month to fully vet a coin and schedule the launch properly is not a big deal at all.

Wow no it doesn't. Ask anyone competent.

I do not have to ask anyone.... you can see it yourself on these forums... coins made in a day and launched all suck and fail. Most of these recent coins can't even get out of the gate without screwing something up.

Ask anyone competent? Point them out and I will then... otherwise... try to make your own coin and launch it without any problems and tell me how that goes for you and how long it took from start to genesis and chain.

Thanks for all of the support guys!
Bounties have been added to the first page Smiley
If you have anything thing else you can offer please PM

In regard to your 1st post. The reason you've released this coin is 11% premine on the other? Also, you said you had another project in the works. Will you dedicate your full time for this coin now that you've released or work on them in parallel?
The reason we released this coin is because we were the original creators and we couldn't let the other "devs" massacre Nyancoin. Secondly, a 10% premine is a complete scam and we believe this community deserves much more. The majority of our premine will go back to the community. Also we will be working full time on this coin after the awesome response from everyone  Smiley
You know what is so terribly funny? The other coin had the worse launch I witnessed so far, no win wallet 10% premine, and other stuff... I downloaded this wallet by accident, and it was/is a real pleasure to mine this one. I 1 second tried the other coin and went back here. The funniest part was all people flaming and en mass coming to this coin... There seems to be a word for that, what was It again? oh yeah

KARMA !!!!

If this coin does not get any attention before the launch of this Coyiny West coin, it will die soon after, as it will loose a lot of the mining power.

Not necessarily -- Coinye will take a lot of mining power temporarily, but the difficulty will skyrocket very soon making the difficulty too high. At that point people will have to retarget their rigs.

Agree...

I'm fairly new to Crypto mining, and I just don't get the rush everyone seems to be in.  Every new coin, some people invest maybe a few hours of hashtime into it, and then talk about selling it off like it's the most important thing in their world.  Surely if the coin does in fact tank then OK, you've lost the chance to make a few quid, but if it recovers and goes onto do well, the medium to long term can be much more lucrative, right?

I mined a few thousand NYAN last night, total electric cost was maybe 1 pound.  Not something I see as a huge investment at this early stage and something I'm more than happy to sit on for a while Smiley

I'm assuming there's lots of others that think like this, they're just not the ones constantly posting "OMG MUST SELL NOW TO GET MY 0.001BTC OR LIFE IS OVER"
