So there seems to still be a lot of confusion about the whole 2 nyancoins situation and I think as this coin grows, this will be a huge sticking point preventing it from going as high as it can potentially get. Any ideas as to how we can differentiate this coin?

I completely agree, hopefully that's what this big announcement will be about or hopefully make it easier to differentiate. Just an idea could you update the wallet so that it doesn't go in a nyancoin directory like the other one? Like change the name? Something like NyancatCoin? Idk just ideas i'm throwing out here.

I know it's been a slow week and we haven't been able to unveil much. Right now we are waiting on the green light and everything will start to happen.

Smoothest launch and great graphics. I believe this will be the most valuable alt coin and the devs have an ace up their sleeve.

Based on what I see/hear from the dev team, I really trust the future of the coin if not for one thing. That stupid other nyan. Those guys are destroying the nyancoin reputation and confusing people as to which coin is really better. I hope the dev has a good plan to differentiate against the other coin cause quite frankly I have been rattling my brain on this and can't think of a solution. No matter how amazing this nyan gets, there will always be some number of people who want to be a part of this coin but accidentally go to the other one and get discouraged from nyan in general.

It's a coin with potential. It really depends on whether the devs can carry through with the promises or not. Most of us are just patiently waiting. We aren't in any hurry and would prefer the devs have quality releases instead of rushed projects.

sadly the anti-nyan dude that snatched up the /r/nyancoin subreddit has chosen to add as a moderator that guy that keeps yelling "TROJAN" in here and on reddit..  Such a sad day for the GOOD nyancoin.  He deleted any posts about this coin and replaced them with stuff supporting the other coin. 

Also the other coin has had a spike in hashrate and now has a hashrate higher than this coin.

Honestly it's not a huge issue, it's not like the other nyan has that much hash rate anyways. Both coins are on life support tbh, devs really need to come through with this announcement. First coin to make a big move will take everything I'm pretty sure. I personally believe the devs are working hard to make something happen with this coin. I have really taken advantage of the low hash rate and mined a very large number of nyan in the last couple days. Lets see what happens from this point on.
