Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?
Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
Do you see that, dont you?
Banyak orang yang tidak sepaham dengan bitcoin, dan karena itu ada banyak berita negatif bitcoin. Tapi bitcoin pasti bisa melewati berita itu karena bitcoin adalah koin terkuat. |

So far things that appear in the media about bitcoin is something negative. Somehow they do not understand this technology or sentiment yet. may be the cause of the negative news about bitcoin because of the high fluctuations in the digital currency exchange rate, the highly vulnerable 'digital wallets' hacked, and the absence of a legal umbrella for Bitcoin.

Sometimes media got some information through un verified Reuters & they release this information about bitcoin, effects on bitcoin price.
Media spreads negative news about bitcoin because there is no taxation & no regulation by any government, but when some government regulate bitcoin then these all news will die.

They act or say things the very way they feel about bitcoin without proper investigation about bitcoin, which is very very bad i wish that someday they get to know what exactly what they are talking about and understand it better.

because people turned into zombies with the growth of bitcoin and other crypto currencies. My opinion is to ban most of the country's crypto in the country

Everything that is done by the media is for a purpose. Sometimes the media give wrong info or amplify them . and The media are sometimes paid to do these., they need to carry everyone along it and things around it. There is nothing wrong with this, it only affects the newbies and those who dosent understand the game.

I think the media's reaction to BItcoin is mainly influenced, most media houses are either owned by some influential figures or are under influence of some powerful people, these people use their powers to within the media houses to act on their own interests, which is unfortunate but happening. The media houses therefore don't act independently but are rather directed to spread negativity on BTC Either by the governments or by influential personalities

Don't know what happens in your countries but in mine if media talks about bitcoin, they mention it's price movement and very, very short story. They don't say anything bad, to be fair nothing different from bitcoin's wiki.
But the most promoter her is the bank which offers bitcoin services, they say all the best from the time they decided to offer bitcoin services for us.
Also if media talks bad in big countries, that's because they need something to say or someone hires them to say that, you know media has a big affect on people.

That's because government sucks they hate people who see grow and they act that they care and say that btc will lower its value but in fact they know btc but they do not know how it works so they advise not to use it.

I think it's because that's the press release governments and business entities who have controlling interests with regards to the business sector wants the media to say. Media nowadays are not like before, they are business entities as well, and so, they will choose to report something that will be most accepted and supported by people, for that will transcend to profit. Having said, I think that it is also affected by how the majority of the world sees it; when the time comes that more people will support it, then there might be a shift as well on how the media will report about it. |

Well, maybe it is just because they think bitcoin is a threat for all of us or maybe because they haven't experienced bitcoin theirselves yet. We cannot blame them. They can keep on warning people but that doesn't mean they can limit them on investing in bitcoin. We are all independent, we should not let media brainwash us with their false news about bitcoin. |

Bitcoin has done so well these past few years and as time passes by, more and more people are patronizing it. We cannot stop the media on hating bitcoin, it is where they make money from. Unfortunately, they don't get to know bitcoin more first before hating on it. Let us just let them be and focus with our investment for the greater good of everyone. |

I believe that the media is negative about bitcoins because they're probably getting paid by huge financial institutions to spread bad news about bitcoins so they can take control of the value of bitcoins again and probably make the value of fiat back to 1:1. |

I think not all that, there is also a positive media to bitcoin. but the media always keep up with the news about bitcoin, when there is bad news about bitcoin they write exaggerated news, with an interesting title so many people are interested in it.

Most information sources do so, as it is profitable for large players of the market. Namely, they can create panic in the market, saying that bitcoin is dying, and raise demand, saying that bitcoin will grow 100 times!

Yeah i noticed that too they are bias sometimes they just report what they just see and saidof others about bitcoin specially when bitcoin involves in investment scam.. People think bitcoin itself is the scam for they dont tell what bitcoin is really is.. It is the platform that scam people who uses bitcoin as payment.. Poor media people.. |

Because I think they have no enough knowledge what bitcoin is? Or they have payed by other critics of bitcoins to destroy the name of BTC for self interest that's why they doing such things because of money.

In my opinion, That is their own manipulations about cryptocurrency they want to say that because they want to fall down the price of cryptocurrency and bought at cheap price. that is a kind of their strategy because media can spread what they want to announce. Either good or bad news for us, Also because the cryptocurrency and not regulated on the other country they taking advantage about it. |

we can say that both of these institute is working together to allow people to have negative thinking towards the nature of Bitcoin. All you can get from media about bitcoin was always negative information, saying it was a scam, illegal to use etc., but even once we do not hear a bit of goodness of bitcoin system from them, lucky now that these days almost of the people in the world was informed about the legacy of bitcoin through internet.
