I even believe that altcoyins are more important now than bitcoin. Bitcoin actually provides very few real amenities. Altkoins are much more important in this regard. Many altkoins have much better qualities and perform many different useful functions that are not able to perform bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin now performs only one function - the accumulation of value, which eventually can collapse again after the panic to the original prices.

I think that yes. The more altcoins we have, the more new developers join crypto community. But if we are talking about worth, I don't trust 95% of projects and coins.

It depend on how you look at it. Generally in any sphere competition is good, because it motivates people to evolve into something better. Yes, most of the altcoins are really bad and just scams, but even if 1% can provide competition for Bitcoin, it is good.
Not all but some altcoin is important as bitcoin because there is functions on them that bitcoin has not. Think that not all altcoin are developed well and other are just used to scammed people but there are altcoin that follows bitcoin better and I trust on few of them where I am serious to invest on it.

Altcoins and bitcoin are equally crucial in the cryptocurrency market; altcoins are considered as a necessary update of Bitcoin to improve the market in the future further. Although the current altcoins rate is low and there are many potential altcoins on the market, we can expect a future where cryptocurrency will improve continuously and become popular in the future.

In any ecosystem, be it in nature or business, there is always a competition. And most often than not, the best always rises to the top. And here in our crypto ecosystem, a competition do also exist. Between Bitcoin and Altcoin. We all very well known that bitcoin, being the first and most proven cryptocurrency already took the center stage in crypto market. Now that altcoins came into the picture, where does it really stands? What will be the selling point of altcoin that will eventually led the bitcoin enthusiasts to finally switch places?

The competition grew so big that investmemts have been divided widely. In that case it will just lower the value of one thing because of lack of demand.
Money is everything now unlike before.
They invest with ICO's looking forward for a great return which could make their life easier.
Mostly late buyers of bitcoin are doing this. They want to see it happen too with the altcoin they invested with.

Just try to imagine how this crypto world will be if we only have Bitcoin without any altcoin Smiley). I think it'll be very boring and crypto world won't be able to become famous like at the moment Smiley. Beside I think trader won't wanna invest in crypto cause they only have 1 choice to choose all the time Smiley. If anyone say that altcoin is not important so I think he just lost his mind Smiley)

Since the cryptocurrency market formed so far has recorded a lot of coins disappearing so choose altcoin has the potential and really good if you do not want to see it disappear forever from this market. I believe that altcoin will continue to go along with this market.

Yes I think so. Think of bitcoin as the KING of all coins and the other coins below it are the ones making bitcoin a King. Without alternate coins, I don't think bitcoin will be the same as it is now. What I also notice is that the investment now is divided unlike before were majority of investors are hodling bitcoin. As of now, I think bitcoin is still the safest bet in terms of investment but the other coin are trying to be on the same wavelength as bitcoin.

Bitcoin is simply a safer bet. Altcoins do not have the same amount of security, brand recognition, liquidity, decentralization and longevity as Bitcoin has. Sure some will be able to ride under the wings of Bitcoin when it starts to run again, but which ones that will be is largely a gamble. And if Bitcoin runs bad then alts will do even worse. The top 10 coins in 2013 have all done worse than BTC has, only Litecoin has been able to limit the damage relative to BTC and is still relevant today. It's your own choice what to invest in of course, but personally, I am playing it safe and not going to gamble with alts. I do have a few litecoins and some nano as well, but that's just a small percentage of my total portfolio.

Bitcoin was the grandfather.

Now that the world was disrupted by the first cryptocurrency, the flood gates have been opened. This allows other cryptos with specific purposes to begin development and thrive.

The current state of the worlds economy is old and will be obsolete by 2025. E-commerce and Fintech will be implemented in every industry around the globe. The idea that the blockchain can do many of the tasks that is troubling the banking systems proves its strength and potential.

Security, a transparent public ledger and scalability are just a few attributes that will allow cryptos to be a payment method of the future.

I generally think that if bitcoin will cease to exist, the altcoins will not survive, because they are all tied to bitcoin.

Bitcoin is more important than altcoins but it has higher cost. Altcoins are affordable and can also make higher profit if projects are successful. For me becs. I have low resources i would prefer altcoins.

Of course, alternative currencies are no less important than bitcoins. Some of them even now win bitcoin in many ways. Therefore, it is worth looking more closely at the market of altcoins.

Bitcoin is the Kingmaker and blockchain came to shape with Bitcoin Project. Moving ahead there would be more innovations coming the way which will enable technology to drive the world in Finance, AI, technology. Decentralization would change the world and would have a positive impact on peoples lives.

Altcoins will also join the party and tread its own path in coming days.
I think so because I know now many people are investing in Bitcoin and altcoin because they are now decreasing so altcoin and bitcoin are as important as bitcoin let alone Bitcoin and altcoin are also much in the interest of many people

All are important. Since they exist, they naturally have their reasons for existence. Every currency has its purpose and value. Bitcoin is the cryptocurrency that has already been accepted. Other currencies want to continue to survive. I feel that they cannot do without Bitcoin.

Competition in the crypto ecosystem is overwhelming and this competition is the driving force for improving each other. Altcoins are very important for the market, the system is feeding each other. As long as it isn't coming to the market new money and new investors, for both bitcoin and altcoins are problem.

You said it is great. In my opinion, some people who change direction may be because of the wide variety of Altcoin, which is a short-term profit, so many people have invested in Altcoin. Another aspect may be that the price of bitcoin is difficult for more people to buy and hold. This is my personal opinion, I hope not to mind!

in the absence of altcoin then it will also not bitcoin can be great. so this I think is a good springboard to bitcoin also. so both of them are equally important. altcoin also thus be the attraction in crypto. many people choose to invest in altcoin also, in addition, choose bitcoin. This is because potential both as good.
