Need some input in picking which of these ideas may turn a profit six months from now. Other suggestions that don't involve buying/holding coins or mining would be appreciated (Try to keep the initial investment cost for these ideas below the 5,000 mark).

Multiple choices allowed. Would help if you could explain your reasoning behind the choice.

(By altcoins I mean all cryptocurrencies minus bitcoin)

Thank you.

I think it really is down to you which idea you go for - only you know where your strengths/weaknesses lie and what may work for one does not mean it will work for the other  Smiley

None, inasmuch as what'd matter would be the specific idea and your specific ability to plan and carry it out well. And since it apparently hasn't sunk in much around these parts, still, somehow: a website is not an idea. Nor is it a business.

Have a read.

You can have my billion dollar idea because I have no money or means to make it a reality.  But an ebay-like site that used bitcoin (and potentially altcoins too) instead of money and paypal.  It would remove the fees associated with paypal making it more profitable for sellers.  You would have to build in an escrow service to really work and figure out exactly how that would work in regards to disputes and so forth.  But if the end result was people could buy and sell goods cheaper than ebay it seems like it could work.

Just pick a region / language / country where bitcoin is going to thrive in the next six months, one where regulation is coming out favorable for example (Singapore)
