It all depends on how much money you invest in your business related to crypto-currencies. If you plan to invest large amounts of money, then you better think about changing jurisdictions. Otherwise, you are taking too much risk. If it's illegal in your country then the police can come to you and take everything you have from you. But if the amounts you work with are small, then I think you have nothing to worry about.

I love bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I feel more comfortable doing so and will do whatever that I can to support it. Now tell me how can I work with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? Although it is illegal in my country.

My country Bangladesh.

Apologies if this is not the right place to discuss.
Thanks in advance.

All you can do for now is continue following your country in these kinds of laws or policy that are implemented in your area or territory. Safety of the life first before the money or income that you can get. Maybe if you insist, go to other countries where bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are accepted so that you can still continue what you are doing. And if you are a super risk taker, even though your country banned it, you will still use it.

Does your country warn all the people who use crypto?  I think they gonna do it before they do that law.  So, when they warn you then it is good to sell your coin into fiat because they are strong than you and you can't do anything.  If you want to continue your path then go to another country that approve bitcoin if you believe at bitcoin.

If the bann is not than serious, you can trade it informally, hold your altcoins ,trade then for Perfect money which you can trade for your local currency. Just do them in small bits so as not to attract suspicions. You can trade crypto for digital money on several exchanges.

if your country has banned bitcoin transactions , you can save your bitcoin by keeping them into exchanges or international wallets which can exchange bitcoin to your national currency whenever you want to trade them

If your country banned, virtual currency , you should follow it .  I know it is hard to let go bitcoin or any other assets that you have but it will also be dangerous for you to continue  participating in bitcoin community , knowing that bitcoin is banned on your country . Bitcoin is a form of an investment , know if you are looking for an alternative investment that is closely related to bitcoin , I suggest you to invest in stock market. Actually stock market is better than bitcoin it could really give you a passive income.

Actually you cannot do any thing directly , staying in your country. Even if your country has banned BITCOIN you can use it because no government can control the online activity of its country member .But you will face a lot of difficulties in transactions and withdrawals. So the best option , if possible, change you country.

in my country pum also experienced the same thing, the government and banks prohibit everyone to ban bitcoin as a legal buying and selling tool,  Perhaps the government will reconsider when knowing how many people are against his decision.

I think Maybe they have strong evidence about illegal activity or transactions in Bitcoin and they do not want your country involved. and for whatever reason your State has, you can do nothing but obey. and hope that one day they will not ban Bitcoin anymore.
Maybe your country received a lot of negative feedback about Bitcoin and they just protect every citizen in it.

If  bitcoin  banned your country then you can use it because no government can control the online activity and you can buy and sell bitcoin with other countries.

If you just rely on crypto to earn a living and then the government forbids crypto then you will end badly. So get up and go find a major job. If the government in your country has banned bitcoin, it is possible to further prohibit the crypto of another coin.

I think finding trusted friends all over the world and keeping your needs met through them because your country will not accept any transactions that happen with bitcoin, this will be a bit safer than losing a hard investment.
I would suggest you move from that country and move to a country that provides a bitcoin legal acceptance.

From what do you have if you are working in the cryptocurrencies the first thing is freedom, you can just move to another country and continue your work there Smiley one friend of mine done that, but he didn't change the citizenship.

I am from India and Bitcoin is banned all over India. I completely disagree with this ban but all I have heard is RBI is not permitting anything which does not pay import and export tax in India. But tell me one thing why pay tax to India when bitcoin is not using anything or any services from India or any other government around the world. I mean Maybe all the governments around the world will accept bitcoin if it pays tax to them but why should it even pay any tax to anyone when it is free of all the stuff. Its completely working without any government body interaction.

You're in a bad situation, I do not know how I would do it for you. Can I offer some options?
1. Leave this country to go where the bitcoin is adopted by the government.
2. Keep the bitcoins in the long run, hoping that one day the law will change
3. Have loyal people from other countries who will collaborate with you.
Sincerely wish you success

That's unfortunate. I guess I do not really know what I would do in your situation. If you already have bitcoin, I think your best approach is to put it in a cool wallet and leave it there. Do not sell or give them just because it's illegal. That's not fair and you have to hide it.

I believe that bitcoin will eventually get global adoption, and even the countries that ban it now, will change their laws again, once the major developed countries (such as the US, Japan, Britain, etc.) start trading with BTC. Once they do that, you will be able to use your BTC again.

Guys relax. The government is ruled by old people who still dont know what internet it and how to use it. Once they are off and new people jump in they wont be that much hate on crypto. Be patient.
I don't think the government in Bangladesh can do anything to track digital assets such as bitcoin so peer 2 peer still happen anywhere and it community still grow

If Bitcoin is harming your country, you should follow the rules promulgated, not the rules.

Try to survey btc users in your country , ask why btc banned in your country . Then if they also dont know the real answer . You better ask your government , what are the reasons why they need to banned btc , although its helpfull to others .
