It is rather unfortunate to hear this. Why will the government restrict people from bitcoin and its activities? For all I know, the government do not have any access to your account details and/or private key. Whether legitimate in your or not, i think you can still go on with your bitcoin investment provided you  remains anonymous. GOOD LUCK BUDDY.

I think nothing you can do against this problem, you can't win against your government.
If you really want investment in bitcoin that badly, then it's better to change your country that allow bitcoin.

What kind of ban is being applied in our country. It is not forbidden in my country, but I do not think there will be a total ban on cryptocurrencies. You can do this through another country when you want to invest and make money. You can also trade with escrow from this forum.

I think there is some user of bitcoin all over the world who fall in this situation. But it is very difficult to take decision in this situation. But if I ware you I could not stay away from bitcoin. I think if I do not use bitcoin in wrong way then there is no problem at all. Moreover the first world country like Japan, Germany, Korea, UK has already start trading of bitcoin. Time is not so far when the country of third world compelled to use bitcoin. Then you will be the pioneer of bitcoin of your country.

I think the best thing to do now for your situation is to keep your bitcoin and altcoin. Also keep all your necessary accounts secure with your bitcoin until your government decides to allow the use of bitcoins.Or else to use your bitcoin and swap it to fiat.

if indeed you already have a lot of bitcoin, this must be very unfortunate for you. and I think, I myself will feel confused if I was in your position. probably what I would do is to store bitcoin and hope there will be government policy for cryptocurrency. and patiently waiting for things to change for the better.
and do not be bored to seek advice to people in other countries who can be trusted. presently the government within your country thinks bitcoin is very negative, and they do not want to look for positive values on bitcoin that can benefit people who want to work with bitcoin. maybe someday the government will understand by itself. and always be assured that someday there must be exciting news for you, I'm sure there must be an adoption in your country, and maybe other countries that still prohibit cryptocurrency.

I love bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I feel more comfortable doing so and will do whatever that I can to support it. Now tell me how can I work with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? Although it is illegal in my country.

My country Bangladesh.

Apologies if this is not the right place to discuss.
Thanks in advance.

And what you personally can do ... You need only wait that in the near future in your country the attitude to bitcoin will be changed for the better. Or as an option to go live in another country if you have such an opportunity  Wink

Of course dont use bitcoin for payment in your country. Don't use bitcoin for transaction in daily because the risk is dangerous. I think the country has reasons to ban bitcoin. Better convert your bitcoin to your currency.

If that's the case what you can do is move to a country that provides the legal acceptance of bitcoin
It is really hard to decide on your part, it's very unfortunate that you're in the country that has bonehead government officials

I think you have to accept this and use the browser tor or VPN. Next, you should get a visa card and a master in another country and use them as a means of input and output. And perhaps this is all. )))

if I am in your position, I do not know, bitcoin is now my work and my hobby. well, i might not be able to just leave it. but I might try to find another legal way to get a paycheck from bitcoin, but not directly. but I think it's still very difficult.

If your country strictly prohibits this it seems that everyone can not do anything until there is new information about Bitcoin legit in your country.

You can invest in ICO.
I think that I have found a really good project - Socratus.  It is a insurance ecosystem which provide a digital platform for insurance companies . So any insurance company can connect the platform to become the part of Insurance Digital Ecosystem such as property, flight delay, cyber insurance and etc. Their main aim is to help insurance companies to reduce costs (it can be reduced from 15 to 25 %) and  get their business on new level. Also, they powered by Smart-contracts & Socratus Oracles. It means that there is no more solo human decisions to pay or not to pay, no more lingering manual claims handling procedures. From my point of view, it is innovative and fit the market.

When in my country wanted to ban bitcoin I thought about what would change citizenship. But fortunately laws were passed and bitcoin was officially allowed.

When you say banned, I think you cannot convert bitcoins to fiat currency, is that correct? This is common in many countries. However, you can mine bitcoins, you can take part in bounties, airdrops where the tokens can be converted to bitcoins. So I think if you need bitcoins there are many options for you to get them however you may not be able to convert them to fiat currency. You could send them to one of your friends local or international and ask them if they would send you cash from Western Union or something like that. All the best!

You have to ask yourself if you are a free man or a slave.  If your free buy Bitcoin.  If you want to bow down and be a servant to your government then do what they say.  Remember though the goverment does not like free men so if you walk the walk then be ready.  Take extra measures on not getting caught.
