I realise these coins are supposed to mine at a slow steady rate regardless of difficulty (or rather because of it), but what happens when the mother!%#@* megapooling multifarmers pay a visit?
Are the fortress walls thick enough to keep out the Vandal hoardes?  Shocked

And does the 'jane' aspect of the code help out with this particular threat?

Megapool does not like Scrypt Jane miners. To put a Scrypt Jane miner in a mega pool situation would cause havoc due to the GPU efficiency lowering.

Thanks for clarifying. I learn a little more every day and some days bucket loads.

The site says its 150,000,000 coins, and that's what I thought it was, but in first OP post it says 25,000,000 total coins.
Now, I could do the math, just to beat to do it now.

Which one is right?

We were asked to reduce the total coins as the period it took to produce the total was too long. It will still take 20-25 years to mine the 25 million.

The whole structure was to mimic the slow decay but we changed it to avoid confusion and accusations of not being fair.

On the bright side, the rarity of the coin has increased sixfold overnight.

Hope I'm still alive in 20-25 years when the last coin is discovered.
I'd like to enjoy the humungous fire-works display from my Martian apartment.

Firstly thanks for taking the time to acknowledge us. We seem to be the quite group of miners and investors.

We the team behind Radioactivecoin or RAD Coin as we are commonly referred, are open and up to the challenges we face.

Although this thread seems quite our community has many international members and miners. With close to 1GHs almost 2 weeks in it seems those who have taken the time to have a look may realize we are the real deal.

Thanks again for your article and look forward to giving you more reasons to write about us in the future.

Client patch has been started. Some fixes have already been addressed. We will have an updated client by the weekend. I will have the full patch list then.
