Anything can happen in the world of crypto, etherium may exceed the bitcoin price, but I think it is impossible for the next 5 years, btc remains above etherium because investors and enthusiasts crypto berkiblat on bitcoin prices rather than etherium prices.

ETH being better than BTC overall is definitely debatable. Although, disregard that rating in the first place. Verge and Bitcoin having the same score? Get outta here. Verge doesn't even deserve to be in any list besides the top shitcoins list. Also, I think streem is somewhat "innovative", but I don't think it deserves that 2nd spot to be honest.

I think Ethereum will not be able to rise to the first position, because I see the task of Ethereum is to always keep the position of Bitcoin in the first rank.

We can actually make a debate about this, it us debatable and I think ethereum can possibly surpass bitcoin as ETH is performing well, while BTC may be the lwader I can actually see that ETH is taking it to thw next level and I think may have the ability to surpass BTC some day, it's just my wild theory but I think is possible.

It is known that bitcoin is not the number one crypto currency among the Chinese. They are more fond on ethereum, litecoin, neo and maybe even doge.

In the digital crypto currency market everything can possible, but as we know bitcoin is the king of crypto currencies world so im not looking bitcoin at no 13.
Ethereum is also a major coin on crypto world but it can’t replace bitcoin at the moment, ethereum has to do a great job to get this position.

We can't really deny the fact that ETH is far ahead of bitcoin in terms of applicability. That is the reason why almost 90% of the ICOs are using ETH to release their smart contracts and to raise funds for their business. We have other coins as well with the similar capability but ETH took the first spot in that. However, according to the market cap, bitcoin holds the first spot since inception. So it is hard say anything at this point. Bitcoin is not going down anytime soon, so an wise investor will hold both of these coins to get the benefits.

But Chinese government is not at all friendly to the crypto currency. So the ranking released by them may have some impact within the local market, but not internationally. Bitcoin continues to rule!

I think this can not happen. bitcoin will not lose it's # 1 position. Bitcoin appeared earliest in the digital money industry. Many people know and use bitcoin. The technology of bitcoin is modern. The value of bitcoin is much larger than ETH.

This China's rating based on their own blockchain characteristics. Bitcoin is still the leader coin and all other altcoin are running after bitcoin. For now this is just how it is but anything can happen in future.

I can't say that eth can surpass Btc because eth prices is still dependent on how btc is doing in the Cryptocurrency.

that ranking system is making a mockery of the whole cryptocurrency world. it is neither based on technology nor innovation nor application! ethereum doesn't have anything over bitcoin or over the other coins that are under it for that matter.
they have listed the most centralized coins and ethereum is on top of that list.

They compared according to the technology that's why Ethereum is on top. Do not forget that Bitcoin was created in 2008 and Ethereum in 2015. It's a big time difference and enough for other projects to improve blockchain. Right now there are better smart contract projects but we can't say they surpassed Ethereum at the moment.

I think that ethereum does`t suppress bitcoin. Ethereum and bitcoin have different spheres of influence and different target audience. Their goals don`t overlap. They are different and therefore they can not be compared at all, it isn`t possible to confirm which one is better or worse. Bitcoin emphasizes the anonymity and speed of transactions, while ethereum tries to match the maximum number of user requests.
