Bitcoin Talk is one of the most newbie friendly forums that I've joined. It offers a wealth of resources to help new members to improve themselves, and to become valuable members of the community. Unfortunately, the vast majority of the members who have arrived recently seem to see this as a sign of weakness, and they expect to be given handouts and personal care and attention, and they expect this without giving anything back to the community.

I'm reminded of the unemployed man who was given a tool chest. He could have used this to become a master craftsman, but instead he used it as a seat to continue begging, and then he sold it to buy beer and cigarettes. If you can identify yourself in this post, then please reflect on the message. You have it in you to become a master craftsman, but in order to achieve this, you need to open the toolbox, and learn how to use the tools.

Offgrid campers allow you to enjoy life and preserve your health and wealth.

We called it attitude and mindset. A person with right attitude can master anything. There is a difference between I am poor and I am broke mindset. A poor can never become rich. It's not only true about money it's also the truth when you are seeking knowledge.

Not even less than a week ago I had no clue (how it's done) about a topic. I always thought it is something very complicated and I can never figure it out. But once I had this mindset that I WILL master it then it took me few hours to grab the whole thing and yesterday before I crushed the bed I made a full tutorial on it! I posted it on the Beginners & Help section.

What was it holding me back earlier? It was my mindset. I thought I could not help it so I left it aside before but when I had this urge that I WILL figure it out then I started moving forward. A man/woman can do anything if they want.

You are the person of your imagination.

Thanks for the reminder Jet Cash.

Very true. Not only bitcointalk but the internet itself is a toolbox full of things. Many think that you need to spend alot of money to gain those tools but that is not the case!

Great analogy.

Unfortunately, most of the new people here register than immediately go with "how to earn in bounty?", "how to earn in the forum?" or something along those lines. I understand that a good number of people here are from 3rd world countries(including me) and trying to make a living, but man. They definitely could do A LOT LOT better if they study and educate themselves first before thinking about monetizing. The worst thing is, some of "those" new members are here because "my friend told me I can make big profit here pls help". Unfortunately some older members here are advertising bitcointalk as a moneymaking forum.

Sorry for swaying your altruistic thinking, but most of crypto-enthusiast here perfectly understand the good value of the newcomers as future mass-apodtion and to the moon as result. Basically we're giving toolbox to work with(!) us, not just as help someone. Anyway, crypto is a good community and together we can reach a great achievements.

It isn't the crypto-enthusiasts we're discussing. I suspect the bulk of the new members can't afford to buy a Satoshi, let alone a Bitcoin. The only moon we will go to with them, is if one of them drops his trousers.

That is so true. It's not just the lack of money. It's certain mental habits that can make the difference between making it financially or not. And those mental habits can be fed by the current financial difficulties a person faces. What's tough is that often people don't even realize the mental habits they have that could be changed because they all just feel normal.

One of those detrimental mental habits that rears its ugly head again and again on this forum is, ironically, thinking about earning prematurely. What people don't realize is that when you come here with an attitude of learning first, the earning opportunities actually expand. There are so many more interesting ways to earn cryptocurrencies than just jumping into the first signature campaign you can, but it takes being a student of the industry first and networking with people doing interesting things in this space as you're learning.

Congratulations to you on mastering the basic skills needed to succeed in this space. It's a big accomplishment.

Thank you. I am still learning. Everyday is a new day with a new opportunity for us.

...it takes being a student of the industry first and networking with people doing interesting things in this space as you're learning.
I hope all these people in the forum realise it who have the only intention to earn money/token/coin from bounties and signatures. Sadly most of them deny the learning and adopting curve.

PS: My indication was on this topic: [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint
I feel relaxed that eventually I figured it out. A week ago, the whole thing was a BIG puzzle to me.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

Dear sir, I agree with you I have seen almost the people here that they come here to earn some money/profit Not everyone here helps everyone, However, this forum seems different to me, although I can not even know the rules here, I try to learn new things.

Hahaha, haven't heard that phrase in a while. Probably get arrested for indecent exposure now, but mine got caught in a few headlights (and pressed against windows at the back of the school bus) when I was younger. I'm getting old.

It is like the same with the proverbs, "give a man a fish and he will be filled for a day, but teach a man how to fish and you'll feed him fr a lifetime".

If someone in this forum asks for help(may it be a question or a request), I'm pretty sure there's always people who tries to help. Unless the question is along the lines of "how to profit", "how to get rich", or something that's useless and generic. I rarely rarely see a good question unanswered.

Hello Jet Cash. You have shared an excellent post. In this age of technology, there are many ways to earn your livelihood. You can't blame luck for it. You can trade forex, deal with cryptocurrency or you can offer your services in freelancing sites like freelancer.com, fiverr, upwork, etc.

That is probably the best way to to put it. I'm sure we have all noticed the influx of newbies not willing to put in the work or even search for topics covered multiple times. As for multiple airdrop threads or where can I get free bitcoin threads it just shows many just want something for nothing.

There is a difference between learning to make money and making money from just posting.
If campaign managers are paying me for just 25 posts, why would I do better? I will only earn money as soon as possible, and I may create more than one account to double the profit."$ 200 a week is an excellent profit better than normal work."
But if there is an assessment of the quality of the participants, you will be forced to learn to improve what you write and when you learn, you will know that you can profit if you set up your project more than working for others.

That's great! This forum is a great tool for people to learn a lot about the crypto world. It can be difficult to motivate yourself to learn more than how to just get free coins, but if you use the forum properly, it can serve as a wealth of information.
