I dunno, other than the pool issues... is it just me or does this seem like one of the better COIN launches in recent memory?

Quiet, friendly, not a lot of hype, nobody really trying to get rich fast, decent parameters, not a lot of speculation (ironic given the coin's name).

Fair launch and decent coin specs.

Going to be big this one. I can feel it.

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to mining but able to figure most things out just by reading forum posts and tutorials.

I have a question on solo mining with cgminier 3.7.2...

I'm running 2 x 7950's at a comfortable temp and speed using the default settings of -s 30 -E 120 -Q 1.

I read in an earlier post that someone was timing the blocks and adjusting the scan, expiry, and queue accordingly.

Are the default settings that I have sufficient or do I need to make adjustments.

All help greatly appreciated.

Thanx!

Can someone who is using CryptoFountain tell me if they can see how many coins they've mined?

I am now mining at crypto fountain for 1 hour and still have zero balance unconfirmed and confirmed. I have no clue whats going on. I'm guessing its lagged or something.

fuck scammer  all blocks here confirmed and no pay everyone out !!!

i mine solo 1h  800 Klondike   / 1 mine on the pool 30min.    0 Klondike...

try scan time 15 and expiry 30, i read somewhere that they are the best settings, scan time too low will overload the network

So far so good. Been running for 1 hour and its looking ok. Continuing to monitor. Based on the current difficulty 1 wallet shoudl be able to handle at least 70Mh/s before meltdown. But if the difficultly continues to rise that will be no problem for way more hash rate. I think the difficulty is getting very close to be able to handle a large hash in one place. Fingers crossed.

We will be processing payments later today. Also please remember a lot of coins left and where paid out. Everything was leaving and paid before the meltdown and I locked it. Of course there are some coins that need to be paid back and will be but a lot where paid out too!

This is interesting. Is this something I should post for my users to add to their configs? Will this help?

I must also point out that right at this moment all payments are being paid and leaving our system. I will continue to lock our pool until this is stable to ensure you all continue to get paid! CoinArmy

Just to clarify, it will not 'crash the coin'. The large amount of orphans you were seeing was due to the initial 'block storm', it being way too easy, lots of people finding the same blocks at pretty much the same time. Its nothing to worry about and will/is clearing as the coin stabilises. Just let users grab their coins Smiley

Everyone needs to back off RENDERING...  Honestly he is doing what he can.  When you combine a shit ton of hash power and a super ass low difficulty, what do you expect.  These new coins need to have HIGHER difficulty starting.  Otherwise it's an instamine cluster all to hell.  Orphans and pool crashes is what it leads to.

CHILL OUT PEOPLE!
