Should prolly also be requesting at CoinEx and CoinedUp -- they are more likely to add Klondike before Cryptsy. Your development teases have piqued my curiousity...

We'll release more info shortly, we will see how it goes down. Its not a service i can see any other coin has and will hopefully get more people involved. We will work on those 2 exchanges and any other smaller/growing ones but i'd like to get the reddit tip bot and faucet up first to attract a little more attention and avoid just a flood of early miners drowning the market. As this wasn't pre mined there will be a number of early big bag holders, unlike other coins where the developer holds all and can control the market.

So the issue with the mac build is that the libraries the app depends on aren't being included in the app package, and the location of those dependencies in the executable still references a hardcoded file path on the machine on which the app was compiled.

If you can push the latest images, etc up to git I can get a working copy compiled for you.

This has been done, let us know if you need anything else Smiley

These coins with a block a minute and 24 hour difficulty cycles make me nervous, mass it really easy for a coin to die if a lot of miners decide to go elsewhere while the difficulty is high. Does the developer have any perspective on this issue? Also makes it important to get on an exchange sooner rather than later; people aren't gone to mine on hope forever.

All coins hash power will fluctuate, i don't believe we will lose enough to cause any real issues as long as we keep on pushing the coin, which we are doing. We have some nice releases lined up to tide us over until we manage to get on an exchange. We also have a C# developer looking at creating a desktop based exchange for us anyway Smiley. We have several talented people working on different projects, one i am particularly excited about but am keeping hush in case it is copied before we get chance to release.

No predictions on Cryptsy, at the moment it looks like they're in the middle of doing upgrades before listing more. As long as we spread the word about the coin and keep the up votes coming on the cryptsy request i can't see us being left out of the next batch, maybe the one after. As long as that comes a little after we have our new features out Smiley

I've got the Mac wallet compiled and working with bundled libs, but there's still the litecoin splash image on startup - can you add the appropriate klondike splash image to the github repo as well?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH thank you guys for standing up for me!!!!!! Cheesy

Yes, that is true CoinArmy have been running now for 29 hours solid. Not even a hiccup I must say. lol.

BUT, just be aware if you all try to pile in here again I will disable registrations. If we get over 3/4 the totally network hash rate that is a bad thing and I will not allow that to happen. Some of you will need to stay with other pools and do solo mining to keep this baby stable.

Remember, any pool that has over 3/4 the total network hash rate is a very bad thing, and I mean bad thing from a technical standpoint.

Maybe he is pointing at me. I will be straight up, I am one of the largest bag holders. You've all seen my hash rate.

Now, I WILL NEVER DUMP ON YOU GUYS! EVER.

My plans with the coins are as followed:

1. Give away a crap load to get more users into our pools and to reward those that have been sticking it out.
2. Hold onto a nice chunk for myself. I am busting my ass here and putting every penny I make on all these pools directly back in. Im hoping that I can at least get a paycheck one of these days. I am not greedy and my lifestyle is cheap so i do not need much. I like giving away, it helps the coins, and the community far greater than it helps me. When I do sell I do smart precision sells to make the least amount of impact on the market. I have done that since day 1 when we started mining way back when. Cheesy
3. I'm sure I will come up with more ideas, need some money to pay the server cause I have 0% fee's and not many donate. Not even close to enough to pay this outrageous server bill.
4. Shit maybe I will be the one that has to buy up a wall if some idiot does decided to dump a boat load. That is cool too. I am in this 1000% with you guys all the way!

But for me your good, do not worry. For the others who may have some nice bags I have no clue about them.

I guess not only that, there really was only a small % of all the coins that are out there. We still have a looong ways to go and a lot more people to get coins. I woudl not worry.

Even if someone did dump a boat load, it would only hold the market down for a short time them go right past it. It is only a small wall and they always get eaten up. I would not worry at all. Do the math on the coin, it looks really good.

Could you please post a screenshot of the exact error you are getting?

A quick note - the wallet should work on Lion or greater, so if you're running OSX earlier than 10.7 it won't work.

I have a question about the coin. What happens after the 3 years? How will miners be paid?
