I believe that NONE, I repied NONE of the coins that were released this year that a increase in hashrate like Klondike. Started yesterday at 12am CET time and the hashrate was 120Mh/s and now it is double even already 250Mh/s. After 36 hours of mining i have more then 5K coins, not too bad, we go for $1 per coin

Yeah, it's quite amazing how much the hashrate has gone up. I didn't expect it to jump like it has. I hope as many miners as possible are able to get in and get some Klondike Coins. They really do feel like they're getting more valuable.

We do need to push the promotions though. Hashrate is all well and good, but how do we know how much of that is small miners, and big miners? We need to keep raising the coin's profile so everyone knows it's a Gold rush.

All of them are small miners. There are only a few with more then 10Mh/s, so .... a lot of small players. Even if the big players will enter this coin now, it will take them days to mine enough coins. but it is indeed time that OPs release their online games.

Is someone planning to create a promotion movie? Maybe they need to put something in place for when people create youtube movies about KlondikeCoin, give them a few coins, youtube can be VERY powerful!!!! Make a nice clip, 1,000,000 hits means 1,000,000 possible new customers.... customers that want to buy the coins.

Just checked the trade thread.  Thank you Andy for offering escrow for the time being, until these are on an exchange consider no trade "safe".  But at least there's a dev of the coin doing escrow for it which should mitigate those risks.

if someone was able to approach random youtube channels which have a lot of subscribers and get them to promote the coin that would help a lot. instead of only having bounty's you need to approach people yourself because only a hand full of people use forums compared to amount of people who surf the internet everyday.
maybe even create some kind of video on youtube which explains what can be done with the coin and how you could make a lot of money off it in the future even if you invest small amounts. but a video like this would have to be carefully made so that people who don't know anything about virtual currency can understand it and take an interest in it. you could also get the youtubers to put a link in the description pointing towards the video thats made to explain this currency, getting people to watch thus more exposure.
a big youtuber his self would have a lot of influence over other youtubers.
so if you know someone who could make this happen, or if you could make it happen yourself, it would help this coin immensely

Is that not what i said? Marketing can really create a hype around this coin, nice name, so it certainly sounds good next to Bitcoin and Litecoin
