note that despite the big images the site is still a relatively small download (~135k). I am aware there is a lot to criticize about this approach but I consider it quite useful for a quick glance of what is going on. |

thanks! I want to leave it with 10 as some people might be afraid it will concentrate threads too much (similiar to objections in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25593.0 where I suggested a good post button) for advertising I am still hoping to find some good bitcoin based advertisers. maybe I will give google ads a try in the meantime. |

you are going up the top10 zlol I did some experiments with more/less newb compensation and users/posts rate but it has only a small impact on the list. |

did some cleaning up. off-topic and non english boards are not in the top 10 any more. neither are the market boards.
locked topics are not immediately banned yet but will take a couple of hours to fall out of hot topics.
it may take a couple of hours for these changes to fully propagate through the list.

scraper was frozen for the last 19 hours or so because of a weird char encoding problem. should be fixed.
are we done with "alternate cryptocurrencies", should I take them out? maybe not quite yet. if I find the time I might give them their separate 3-5 topics...
