What do you mean by the new 'e'?
Will it replace the USDe Coin logo?

I am not sure why you are a bit over-reacting on a single picture.

Feeling highly concerned about the future of USDe. Also Jacquette was one of those guys who repeatedly argued about the current logo.

Yes.. its called "feedback".. small simple feedback without belittling the community by calling them a immature teenage kids like they don't know better, and brag about how much millions of USDe coins i'm holding. and if i did have 6 million coins i'd be super busy promoting USDe and increasing the community by doing lots of giveaways and such, rather than being a greedy goon thats too lazy to open Photoshop and letting the devs do all the hard work. as a community we are working together to help keep USDe alive and moving. Too me i don't really find that "Very unwise".

USDe is a dollar no E (eurocoin).
Don't play whit us.
I just traced the logo published by usd-e. : https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi59.tinypic.com%2F2moujv9.jpg&t=536&c=R0NlXf5zino0qQ

Please god no, don't use this logo, looks amateuristic, and most off all it's been hit with the ugly stick!
This thing is fugly!

I agree 100%. This logo is really rubbish. Don't understand it. This great community has fantastic dev, a lot things are achieved, the logo is great and then someone comes up with silly idea to change a nice logo in this piece.....
Sorry for my brutal language, but these logo's are different leagues.

The logo we have is not great. It is a good design and motive, but it is not a good logo. I'm just repeating myself Tongue
I don't think the new red one is any better. It needs much more work, if not a fresh start.

DRMAD

The suggested change of the e in the USDe logo is not a big thing (although I also do prefer to old one).

Sorry but that is terribly wrong. Graphic communication is detrimental. It is as important as the codes and the technical part.

yes it is, but changing the logo at this stage does no harm for the brand at all. Branding theory does not agree with you my friend.

Okay, a couple of people don't like the logo and want to change.
lets look at the current logo.
1. There is some gold in it. Personally, I think that's good. Crypto-fans dislike currencies like usd and euro, but most of them like real currencies like crypto's and gold.
2. The current name in combination with the picture of Benjamin Franklin make people think, the coin has something connection with the US. In my opinion that's not really great. I can imagine there are people in this world, that don't want to be involved with the US, because of political or religious reasons or whatever. So, as far as I can see, every coin should try to reach worldwide acceptance. So it might be better to have the picture of the former US president removed.
3. To go a little bit further, according world wide acceptance, we might consider where to put the emphasize. Unitary status dollar ecoin. You probably understand, I like the word UNITARY more than the word DOLLAR. The world dollar is connected to certain countries;  USA, Canada and Australia, where as the word UNITARY is more worldwide connected.

My conclusion.

A good logo, should emphasize on; Gold, but there shouldn't be a US president and the word UNITARY could be written in caps compared to the word dollar.

English is not my native language and I am not a designer.

I agree, don't like the new logo either.

The current logos are simple, but classy indicating value, giving you the feeling that you want to obtain it.

Agreed!
This logo doesn't feel like it's containing any value, crypto currency is still ratter new, so to get general adaption I think it's important there is still some link to fiat, so expensive looking coin is better then this cheap internet explorer look-a-like piece of...

Really, I hope this logo proposition is just a joke cause this looks bad.

Hi I've been browsing this forum for ages but have only recently signed up to show my support to this coin.

First of all, some people in here are showing an insane amount of impatience. Remember how young this coin still is! Most coins that are huge now did not have a good start like this one. In fact, this is the best start I've seen any coin make.

USD-e is a coin with substance which needs time to mature, this is not some silly pump and dump coin. My prognosis, based on extensive extrapolative research, is that in 6 weeks we will be the 3rd most traded altcoin in the world. In the meantime, sit back and enjoy the ride chaps.

Because the actual logo IS NOT a logo. It´s a coin!!! The new idea isn´t perfect ether, but it´s one the right way of clean simple clarity and easy recognition. I actual logo is completely overloaded.

A coin is not a logo, but you can put a logo on a coin!!!

Nobody says anything about USDe being too related to the USA, let alone changing the logo completely.

It has been said, check the previous pages.

6M USDe, which would mean you hold an incredible amount of USDe, which some people probably do not believe > thus a troll.

Not even 12BC. A grain of salt in the crypto-market.

I thought the suggested 'logo' was to only change the "e" in the current USDe logo, not the entire logo.
I am certainly also not happy doing major changes to the current logo, especially not with a 'red-look-a-like-pacman-growing-two-small-legs-out-off-its-bottom" logo Cheesy.
Looking at the new suggested logo (yes it is only a first suggestion, I know), I think a lot of people will not know it is the logo for USDe. The logo does not feel/look like USDe.
A good logo should immediately start you thinking about what it stands for, USDe. The current logo does do a much better job in this.

I want to recommend you using pool http://usde.coinium.org    I found it after big trouble with poolerino and some others. Big traffic jam there, or something else caused, that I had much lower hashrate.   This pool looks very nice - decent design, statistics and quick response ( I am in EU).  But there are not enough miners. We find 1 block/hour, which is not too bad, but it could be better.

So please, join me and others there. Poolerino has too much hashpower for this coin and also lots of issues.

ps.
I am not in any connection with pool owner, and I mine there only for few hours at this moment, so I can not say anything about its longterm performance.

Another good pool is http://usde.steadymining.com/

Been using them with one of my rigs, all good.

I like the USDE coin logo without Benjamin Franklin on it, it reminds me of our British £2 coin has a feeling of value to it, goes well with the strap line "do you have USDE in your wallet"

I have been mining at coinium for the last 24 hours, all stable. I came from steadymining which was also good, but growing to big (over 51% in times).
I joined the pool because it was small, which can give you potential big pay-outs when hitting a bonus block.
Yesterday afternoon the pool hit a 20.000 block and I got 2.000 from it with my 500 khash/s.
Yesterday evening the pool hit another 20.000 block, which gave me 'only' 650 coins due to the pool growing.
So I do hope the pool does not grow too big Cheesy.

Re: the whole 'e' discussion... Guys, this isn't the new logo. We are simply looking at updating our existing one, and only looking at the letter 'e'. The new 'e' or a revision of it, could in theory become a symbol for USDe.
