$8 per 1000 Kh/s would then mean: 0.01BTC / 456.2 = 0.00002190
 
So, yes, 300-500 might be a bit high for the moment, but as soon as it gets listed on some big exchanges more people will start mining, difficulty will go up and thus according to your reasoning (8$ rule) also price should go up.

i have a little play money for the exchange.. it's not very wise to sell all your usde, and buy other coins just to make a small profit.

 if usde hits a big exchange today you will not be able to buy yourself back in cheap.. it will skyrocket.
