I think we definitely need to keep thinking of new ways to increase the popularity of USDE it is definitely a "Sleeping Giant" but the problem is there are so many new coins lately we are just getting lost in the crowd. We really need to ramp up our PR activity, I have been quietly following all of the good and hard work that this community has put into this coin from the start, and I strongly believe that it does have a bright future, but only if people outside of this community get to learn about us. It is not enough to hope we hit a big exchange, everyone really needs to put their thinking caps on! How else can we creatively get the USDE name out there? Perhaps there should be a giveaway competition on the most creative thought up PR campaign suggestions etc. Just a thought.

Yes other forums, what if we all target 1 forum at a time and hijack the thread to spread USDE will this have a negative outcome do you think? At the end if the day if we are getting noticed that is the key regardless of the techniques we use. It will create more interest for the coin! Proactive marketing I call it

advertising is good, spamming is bad. inform the right channels, we will reach our goal. like the dev said, rome isn't build in one day.
it took bitcoins 4 years, and even now most people i know irl don't even own 1 satoshi. i will be very happy if we reach a $1 /usde 1.00 even if it takes 4 years.
there's a new alt-coin every day.. and they fail every day, even the promising ones. this one has by far the best community.
ask not what usde can do for you, ask what you can do for usde

Agreed, just a subtle approach to help promote interest, can any one suggest the best forums to target, and come up with a good subtle post that will be an effective way to channel interest, without it looking like spam?

First most important thing us to have is a final version of the website, updated with all services, games, exchanges. People are visiting usd-e.com but there is no refference on how to buy usde. Everything will be done. It's sunday, we all got families, friends and usde:). Most important try to resist the impulse of selling now. When we hit coinex target is 1200-1000. When we hit cryptsy target will be + 2000

i used to be a powerseller on ebay a couple years back.
i still have a huge stack of vintage computers ( nintendo, commodore, msx, spectrum zx, atari, sega etc. etc. ) also skateboards, vintage clothing, records, books and much more.
i'm not a website dev, gave up on that a long time ago. but if we can manage to find a way and build a website where we can sell our used items that are just laying in the basement for usde only, and provide a simple link to where they can buy usde, we could all benefit.

So proud and happy to be part of this project! We have no doubt that this community, coupled with everything we are doing is what will triple our success! Obviously what happened yesterday was someone, who used to be affiliated with USDe convinced enough people that some sort of DEV USDe sell off occurred and that it was time to get out. Those who listened and sold yesterday are now probably regretting their haste decision to trust the scammer. Meanwhile, the scammer walked away with a piece of the pie. Luckily though our community came through quickly and exposed the thief and liar. Kudos to all of you! If in the future any such rumors are spread and if you have any doubts at all, please PM or e-mail team@usd-e.com. We are busy, but do respond pretty quickly, only 1 e-mail away. As far as goals for today -- barring any other unexpected issues, we had to invest more $ and our new, redesigned, responsive and mobile ready Web Site should be up today. We are establishing and renewing contact with payment processors and exchange administrators. It will be helpful if everyone on here organized the effort to reach out to Cryptsy, Coinex, MCXNow and BTER. It is difficult to move forward with a lot of our plans without USDe on a larger platform with appropriate APIs. Happy Sunday

Good idea, a craiglist type site for USDe only. Once we can spend USDe on material goods we have reached a milestone and it is a must for long term survival. It increases trust within the population which will lead to more people using USDe, which increases trust in the population... Repeat this enough and we got a functional currency.

Don't forget ppl outside the US. Most services (like craiglist) focus on US only. We need services "without" borders.
