It's still on my TODO: combining theymos' data dump and the current merit amounts in each profile is enough to determine the Merit airdrop for each user, which is enough to deduce their "starting" rank. I've been postponing this for too long, I hope to find some time tomorrow. I'm very curious to see stats on who ranked up. Once I get it all figured out, I'll include it in my weekly updates.
You're right. You can backtrack using the initial airdrop as a measure for the initial Rank. I did it like this at some point in a post from way back, but somehow got confussed now with the initial sMerit <> initial Merit (obviously). Based on what I can see, if I'm right, we have: - No one has made it to Legendary - 8 to Hero (from Sr. Member) - 33 to Sr. Member (from Full Member) - 21 to Full Member (from scratch; two more than on a list I found yesterday with older creation dates), and another additional 53 to Full Member (from Member) - 1.614 to Member (starting from Jr. Member or below). -> I'm only listing regular ranks here, since I don't know how the initial Merit played out with Copper Members, VIPs, and so on. The above data is based on all historical records, and not using as a safe baseline a certain date of account creation onwards. Since you're going to detail the users I'll stop here, but the above could serve to cross-reference our results to double-check.

Can we have a full list till full members? I think we can skip the Members.

LoyceV called dibs on detailing these cases, so I believe the right thing to do is wait for his data and simply use my aggregate as a contrast.

I would love to create more list like the 0 to 100+, sepreate table but same format. I am thinking of three more lists: 100 to 250+ 250 to 500+ and finally 500 to 1000+ I would appreciate if any of you DdmrDdmr, LoyceV can provide me the raw data.
Update: Also a list of 10 to 100+ merited members.

I think nullius will be on every list that you will make Even if he's a human, but still he's totally out of everyone's league here. Hoping to find someone like him or even better to him. As for the data that you need I think you should also include zentdex.

Thanks for the shout out mate. I appreciate your positive input. zentdex - has s/he started from 0 merits. Looking at his profile (November 20, 2017) seems like s/he was already a member and started with initial 10 merits. Can anyone confirm?

Yes, he might not started at 0 but still he gain more than a hundred, and now he's also on the verge on getting more out of his styles in posting and gathering data. He might also be of help for you to know some other accounts that you wish to know and have it documented. Although LoyceV was already good enough to do things that's necessary for you profile but still having a lot more people will do more awesome thing

This is an on going list. Feel free to post the details of new members who achieved 100 or 100+ merits from 0. Member(u=) | Specialty1 | isQuestionable?2 | DT Red Tag | Alex_Sr(u=1762404) | | YES |
|
1In my opinion, if you have better idea about the individuals specialty please let me know. 2The members merit gains are questionable. Not someone to take encouragement. I will request the community to investigate and suggest me to remove YES if my input is wrong. Don't want to repeat what has already been discussed in another topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2896910.msg32771539#msg32771539And almost all points for deleted threads, so he was either spamming and each of his posts got later merited by xandry, or he was posting and deleting everything after getting merited so it's impossible to find out what he was merited for and argue whether the post deserved it or not. Either way it looks like abuse. This is also interesting https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=382413Maybe xandry could tell us why almost all posts that he's meriting get deleted. The moderator xandry gives merit for helping in moderating the forum. Russian section of the forum is very big sizes. And we promptly report the posts or threads violate the forum rules. For that sometimes he get merit. P.S. Sorry for my English. P.S. Statistics of my reports are available to administrators mdayonliner, do you have any more questions?
Maybe you don't trust the forum administrator which is appointed xandry staff of the Russian section of the forum?Aah, I see... It seems, indeed you are telling the truth. Sorry mate. I will remove the isQuestionable tag.
update: Done @Alex_Sr What we need here are good stable members who will support the forum, and not temporary visitors, who are here to do a bit of ego stroking.
- What if he is not physically ok. No one just doesn't know his current situation. I really hope that he is both mentally and physically healthy. I do agree that he might be an ALT.

I think these three can be added to your 0..100 list:
user_id name posts activity merit rank DateCreated MeritReceived MeritDiff 667927 Paractor 269 269 133 Full Member 2015-11-27 09:16:54.000 133 0 1268116 vlad230 515 168 138 Full Member 2017-10-31 16:36:47.000 138 0 1038794 deeperx 985 182 359 Full Member 2017-06-20 17:47:21.000 359 0
They were created before the trimeframe window I used as a safe to list the 19 cases I gave you before, thus they didn't show up. All three cases seem to have gave gained all their Merit without an actual initial Airdrop.
On the other hand, this case should probable be excluded strictly speaking:
user_id name posts activity merit rank DateCreated MeritReceived MeritDiff 1381008 LastJedi 280 182 122 Full Member 2017-12-05 02:10:06.000 112 10
The user seems to have has an initial airdrop of 10 Merits, which is weird considering the date creation of the account (05/12/2017), which is at worst 52 days before the Merit System kick-off (night of 24/01/2018). That in theory means that activity would have been less than 60 at the time, and therefore should not have been a Member yet during airdrop (thus I expected to see no airdrop). There must be something about how activity kicks in that I still haven't got a grasp on...

I didn't do the calculations for that member, but for reference, I gained 28 activity points in the first two days of membership, after that it reverted to the standard 14/14 rule. I believe that this is the fastest you can pick up the initial 28 points.

Now this may be interesting to see too: Acording to my data, as of 25/05/2018 we have: Set 2 (25/05/2018): 0 Legendary 8 to Hero (from Sr. Member) 33 to Sr. Member (from Full Member) 21 to Full Member (from scratch; two more than on a list I found yesterday with older creation dates), and another additional 53 to Full Member (from Member) = 74 1.614 to Member (starting from Jr. Member or below). -> I'm only listing regular ranks here, since I don't know how the initial Merit played out with Copper Members, VIPs, and so on. I just went over a post of mine ( Which Ranks send sMerit to which Ranks - and who ranked up) with data up to 23/03/2018, and back then I reported: Set 1 (23/03/2018): 0 Legendary 4 Hero Members (from Sr. Member) 18 Sr. Members (from Full Member) 39 Full Members (from Member, 3 of them from lower ranks) 975 Members (from Jr Members or lower) The comparison is interesting, since it shows the gain in a two month period of time: Set 2-Set1 (gain in two months): 0 Legendary 4 Hero Members (from Sr. Member) -> same 15 Sr. Members (from Full Member) -> 16,67% decrease vs Set 1 35 Full Members (from Member, 3 of them from lower ranks) -> 10,26% decrease vs Set 1 639 Members (from Jr Members or lower) -> 34,46% decrease vs Set 1 Since Set1 was derived two months after Merit System Kick-off, the timeframes are all in two month periods. So as we can see, if we compare results, is that there seems to be a decrease in ranking-up speed as time goes by. This is probably related to the decrease in overall weekly sMerit being awarded, specially compared to the first month. <...>
Thanks, Talk merit. Yes,something like what you mention must be going on in the case I was puzzled by.

I was surprised to see that. I thought that the cron job for activity calculation ran every 14 days, but it seems that it may run at hourly intervals for new members. If this is true, then it shows an interesting level of sophistication in the forum ranking system. Obviously new members will be encouraged to post more if they see their activity increasing as they start. Having to wait 14 days doesn't provide the same incentive.

Is it possible that you registered the day before the 2 week changeover? You obtained 14 activity on your first day (the last day of the 2 week activity period), followed by 14 activity in your second day (the first day of a new 2 week activity period)?

That is exactly what happened, and it was planned by me to see how the system worked. The surprise was that I didn't get the 28 activities in two 14 point hits, but that activity increased shortly after each post during the first couple of days of membership.
