Bro, why you need "specialty" column? IMO you don't need a specialty to rank up. If so, I bet many members who rank before merit introduced will have no specialty. Maybe we just need the list. Whether it's legit or not, it's not our decision to make.

Congratulations. Nice list and effort. Copper member included?
I am not focusing on membership, I am focusing on initial merit airdrop to next decent regular ranking up. Like: 0 to 100 and plus 10 to 100 and plus etc.
I bet many members who rank before merit introduced will have no specialty
I am much focused on the events that are happening after the merit system has been introduced.

This is a good work. I dont even know why there are so many salty people over a good work. Yes, you are posting a lot about merit, and yes it may look like you are sucking higher member a lot, but what you did requires a lot of work and i myself really like this kind of work. Infographic, facts, stats about merit is a great work and require a lot of time to finish, so i dont mind if people are getting merit from it. Those salty people just prove us that (some) human is just a selfish and jealous creature over people who have done better than them, while they think they are better than those who are better.
By the way, is there a list from 100 to 500? I kinda lost on the thread hehe. Oh, i found the 100-250 list, maybe you can add me on that list.
And i forgot the most important thing, congrats mdayonliner, way to go to 250 !!!

It would be cool if you would be able to create a list of people who have achieved more merit than they have posted. That would probably be a good indicator of very good posters.
I'm not sure if you would want to look at it since the merit system has been brought in to prevent misleading stats.

The problem to creating that list is that, to be fair, you would need to use a common starting date for the post count (avoid that more senior members have all their post history considered from way back). You could use the 24th/25th of January 2018 a a baseline, but it has two correlated issues: - you would have to discard the count on posts prior to the baseline. There are not that many prior to Merit Kickoff that have been merited, so it would not be that bad (see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4181253.msg38299950#msg38299950 section 5). - but the issue is being able to get every merited person’s post count from that baseline date. The profile post count is from date of creation, so getting this specific element of data would be hellish..

I only need 3,000+ merits to get on that list.

Getting each individuals post count from eg 21st of feb to now would be very resource heavy/difficult. It's probably not worth the effort anyway as I don't think there's enough people earning over their post counts to justify that.

It would be cool if you would be able to create a list of people who have achieved more merit than they have posted. I already did that for Merit vs Activity: Just as a matter of mild interest. Is it possible to provide a count of all the members with a higher merit count than activity?
The answer is 684! I took the Merit count from the profiles instead of theymos' data dump, so it's very recent data. I'll give only the first 1000 entries (in 2 posts), if you want the full list I can upload it somewhere, but it's BB-code, not HTML: 1. 893 (=1257-364): satoshi 2. 609 (=1701-1092): Lutpin 3. 557 (=725-168): nullius 4. 468 (=503-35): deadsea33 5. 440 (=501-61): pafu 6. 390 (=1314-924): BobLawblaw( click for the full list) That would probably be a good indicator of very good posters. Most accounts on the list are there because of other reasons than just good posts. It took me one minute to adjust it to Merit vs Posts, but most of my profile-data is a week older than my Merit data now. It'll nicely show the users who deleted most or all of their posts, and some Newbies with only a few high profile posts. And some people with 1337 posts are counted as zero in my script (if I ever download all profiles again, I'll fix this). Ignoring the leet, Satoshi is #1! Downloading 22189 profiles takes about 8 hours. I'll stick to this approximation: 1. 1000 (=1000- leet): 50cent_rapper 2. 690 (=1265-575): satoshi 3. 468 (=503-35): deadsea33 4. 440 (=501-61): pafu 5. 354 (=596-242): GameKyuubi 6. 254 (=260-6): This is a good work.
Will be adding tomorrow and also will update this post. Too late here today. Need to crushAdded. Thanks for the confirmation. Also thank you for the wish. Yeah next is 250 LOL

I haven't really bothered about merit until read the last part of this thread. i'm on an activity of 896, and a merit of 892, and I'm having to resist it triggering my competitive instinct.
