Yeah, seems the nework is stuck. Suggest you to switch the rigs and keep monitoring the BLOC network state before reverting them back.

BLOC.MONEY v1.6.0 Released



What’s new ?

The last weeks were intense. We spent a lot of time talking with the team, meet new developers from the community, analysing the situation and understanding the objectives and goals.

Our number one priority right now is to keep our blockchain network stable, secure and bug free 100% working. Once this task will be reached, we will be able to release the entire collection of projects such as the mobile app, but also a brand new dashboard for everyone to be able to use their bloc and promote their business and much more coming soon. We have in hands working samples of our products and we can’t wait to show it to the world.

Meanwhile here are the important updates released for today:
This update addresses some of the most recurring issues while using BLOC wallets.

1. Telegram wallet
Multiple users have had big transactions get stuck when sending coins out of the Telegram wallet. This was due to the fact the optimization wasn’t available on walletd, which powers the Telegram wallet. We have added an auto-optimization feature for all Telegram wallet. The process will take some time to fully optimize all the wallets, but in a matter of a few days, all the transactions sent from Telegram will stop from being stuck. All Telegram wallets has been optimized now.

2. Maximum size of a transaction
Some transactions get stuck because they contain a lot of inputs from non-optimized wallets. In order to prevent this issue, we have adjusted our maximum size algorithm for a single transaction. This should prevent big transactions from even being sent in the first place.

3. Fusion transactions
The first implementation of fusion transactions with simplewallet were prone to get the blockchain stuck by sending to many of them at the same time. We have fixed this issue by limiting the amount of fusion transactions a user can send in one row.

What’s next:
1. We are working on implementing a RPC server to the latest version of simplewallet in order to remove simplewallet_rpc and allow user and exchanges to optimize their wallets through RPC.
2. The new difficulty adjustement algorithm will improve protections against 51% timewarp attack. The implementation is ready and currently being tested on our testnet.
3. We are working on implementing the haven mining algorithm to prevent Nice Hash use

We are not planning to release update everyday. We will release and push our updates when they are completely tested and approved by our team and members of our comunity. This is why you will mostly see monthly updates on BLOC.MONEY project.

Wallets optimization update is a success



What’s new ?

We are happy to announce that all the wallets on Telegram has been optimized successfully. No more stuck transactions from walletD which power Telegram wallets. The optimization is now working smoothly and automatic. It took few days to complete the process but it’s now completely done.

we have adjusted our maximum size algorithm for a single transaction. This prevent big transactions size (not in amount) from even being sent in the first place and for now it seems to work pretty good. We had over 30 pending transactions with huge size over 100kb that was stuck before the update and has been cleared after running the wallet optimization.



We are still working on the Testnet implementing the new haven mining algorithm to prevent Nice Hash use. In the same time we already implemented the LWMA difficulty algorithm and testing everything. We would like to be ready to launch the new modifications from testnet to mainnet before the end of July.

What’s new ?

BLOC.MONEY hardfork is exciting and coming soon[/url] hardfork is exciting and coming soon. We are getting excited of our progress. We are having really ruff days at the office last weeks but we are seeing the end of the tunnel and it makes us happy. This is what we have done so far.

Tested and working on the BLOC test-net:
1. LWMA difficulty algorithm has been successfully implemented and tested. You can find more details about LWMA here. This is the best algorithm for the BLOC that we can use right now to stop timewarp attacks and improve reliability of block timings
2. We have successfully implemented and tested the CryptoNight Haven Algorithm: This is a tweak on the cryptonight heavy algorithm we are currently using that will once again make us incompatible with nicehash. This is important while we are a growing network to ensure cheap power can’t be rented to dominate the network hash.
3. We have successfully modified and tested the new BLOC-TESTNET mining pool and works like a charm.
4. We have successfully implemented and tested and our new BLOC WEB BROWSER mining and works perfectly with the new Cryptonight Haven algorithm



What is left to do before release on Main-net:
1. We still have to modify the BLOC wallet and implement the new algorithm. This should be done before this week end.
2. We will run a more advanced test during few days
3. We will annonce the release date of the BLOC.MONEY Hardfork but we plan to release it before the end of July.



What are the benefits of all this ?
Once the new BLOC.MONEY mainnet will be online, we will have a strong, stable blockchain network, updated, fresh, secure, not minable from Nicehash, using the latest difficulty algorithm to stop time wrap attacks, optimized wallets and of course ASIC resistant since DAY1. Surely one of the best blockchain in 2018 !

This is a huge progress for the BLOC.MONEY network because we will be able soon to launch the complete arsenal of tools we developed such as the mobile apps, the first ever BLOC dashboard and Market Place to connect buyers and sellers using BLOC.MONEY , the most advanced and secure decentralized crypto currency exchange on net, and much much more.
