hey, I wanted to mine this, but I can't start the miner. It just says "can not start". I use a batch file in the folder of the minerd64 with this line:
minerd64 -a qubit -t 4 -o stratum+tcp://qbt.mine-pool.net:9372 -u hereismyaddress -p xxx

I have 64bit windows 8.

Any ideas?
You need to put .exe after minerd64...like this
minerd64.exe -a qubit -t 4 -o stratum+tcp://qbt.mine-pool.net:9372 -u hereismyaddress -p xxx

thanks, but it doesn't change anything. It worked with the quark miner. But my Avira don't like this files.

Oh boy, look at this. I found a whole block with solo mining with only 138kh/s after 30min mining. I calculated to get 1400 in 24h with a pool. My lucky day, I guess^^

Can you post a screenshot of what happens when you run it?

Edit: And, what folder did you extract the miner to?

Go in the qt client to Help -> debug -> console. There you can use "setgenerate true -1".
I can't find Help in the qt client.

Hello,

My OS is Windows 7 64 bits. I try to mine with minerd64.exe with these parameters:

Code:
D:\Documents\q2c_cpu-miner\win64>minerd64.exe -a qubit -o stratum+tcp://qbt.mine-pool.net:9372 -u GaYLTWB6zJ5FwF3UkywaAJTB6txXQihkCb -p x
[2014-01-19 01:56:27] 2 miner threads started, using 'qubit' algorithm.
[2014-01-19 01:56:27] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://qbt.mine-pool.net:9372
[2014-01-19 01:56:27] Binding thread 1 to cpu 1
[2014-01-19 01:56:27] Binding thread 0 to cpu 0
[2014-01-19 01:56:28] Stratum detected new block
[2014-01-19 01:56:28] Stratum detected new block

Then the miner stops and I got the prompt again. Can someone help me?

What CPU do you have? Have you tried the generic miner?

I tried with the 32 bits version and that work. My computer is really 64 bits so that's weird. Anyway, thank you!

I did not see this posted so just in case here is my Mac build of the wallet:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/uinrtbxrfzbdnfw/QubitCoin-Qt-0.8.3.zip

The checksum of the executable is fef1a93738e4dac68a0214e20b1e5149

I am running 10.8, not sure if this works on older versions.  Also I am not a Apple registered developer so I can not sign the binaries.  You will have to right click on it and select Open the first time you run it.

That's how I compiled (by readme-qt.rst):
git clone https://github.com/qubitcoin/QubitCoin.git
cd QubitCoin/
Then performed qmake "USE_UPNP=1" and make. During compile observed:
Code:
compilation terminated.
make[1]: *** [util/env_win.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/atlas/Downloads/QubitCoin/src/leveldb'
make: *** [/home/atlas/Downloads/QubitCoin/src/leveldb/libleveldb.a] Error 2

Then I try as here.
git clone https://github.com/qubitcoin/QubitCoin.git
cd QubitCoin/src
chmod +x leveldb/build_detect_platform
mkdir obj - has already been created
cd leveldb
make
In dir QubitCoin/src performed qmake "USE_UPNP=1" and make
Then run ./QubitCoin-qt and sync no.
Where can I fing ./QubitCoind. I can't find this file in directore where copmile.

you added new nodes in config file? if yes - QubitCoin-qt work fine.

in cpu-miner directory with minerd64.exe file, u can find file "minerd64-generic" try to use this in cmd ex.:
minerd64-generic.exe -a qubit -o stratum+tcp://qbt.mine-pool.net:9372 -u GaYLTWB6zJ5FwF3UkywaAJTB6txXQihkCb -p x

64 bit's version work fasters that 32..

Dear developers, please inrecase reward for site by 5k QBIT.

Also we need good logo.
At this time we have 2 versions of logo. We need at least 5 and a topic to vote for the best one.

And let it be QBIT !

Guys!
We need a site!

This coin has no premine so the community should support developers.
I, personally, donate 5k QBIT for the site development.

+1

I totally agree and now we have mac wallet too!

I did not see this posted so just in case here is my Mac build of the wallet:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/uinrtbxrfzbdnfw/QubitCoin-Qt-0.8.3.zip

The checksum of the executable is fef1a93738e4dac68a0214e20b1e5149

I am running 10.8, not sure if this works on older versions.  Also I am not a Apple registered developer so I can not sign the binaries.  You will have to right click on it and select Open the first time you run it.

Dear dev, Update PLS!
