So the start with this coin is one of the fairest I've ever seen. Because more important than the preannouncement is, that the first blocks are paid nothing so that the diff can adjust and everyone brings his maschine in work. So there were 9 hours of blocks with only 1QBIT reward.

Sure, there are some guys (or addresses) which have a couple of 100 000s on it. But they didn't just point their big mining rig for a couple of minutes to QBIT.

I am optimistic. I mine solo now but like to buy some from a whale. But no, I am not paying 0.01 for 1000QBITs which I mine with my laptop in 5hours... Somebody has reasonable offers?

Agreed. Still north of 90m on a pool that is not paying out. I've moved... I wonder how long it will take for the internets to wake up and realize they are not getting paid?

I sent an email to the owner by opening a ticket, I think he is fair but beginning to suspect scam... waiting but i prepare to switch in next 30 min...

I am not sure that we should change the short name to QBIT.  That seems too close to QBT which was already taken.  It seems like that would lead to unnecessary confusion. 

For what is the "2" in "Q2C"? Yes, with 300 altcoins there are similarities.
With 5 hashes I would have called the coin "Pentacoin" or "Pentagon".

I assume that is because a Qubit is basically a base 2 number.

I like this coin, too, but I am always a little more dispassionate. On the other hand I don't want to talk bad about this coin. I like the fair start. Fairer than any other coin I saw here (maybe compared with Digitalcoin). Sure, some coin preannounce, but when the start is, there is not wallet, not nodes etc. Here we had 8 hours of no coins. Actually this coin should be named into "FairQuark" The reward system is a litte weak. The exact same model like Quark.
And more hashing algorithms or CPU-only has advantages but disadvantages, too.

The only bad thing is maybe the name (i don't know) and no giveaways, no website etc. Because of that I heard yesterday of this coin the first time and I am here all the time...

I am not strong tech specialist/web designer/etc. I am a marketing specialst. And as far as I see we have no marketing here. Everyone can say what we don't have. So let's describe the steps to make the coin popular and finally we will have a real plan.

0. Detailed coin description with all its strong sides. An IDEA which makes this coin DIFFERENT.
0.1 Post what you consider a strong side and an IDEA of the QBIT
0.2 Vote for the main IDEA and several strong sides
0.3 Logo. We must have perfect logo. We need at least 5 options (now we have 2) and vote for the best one.
1. Social networks
1.1 Create communities
1.2 Invite friends, increase popularity
1.3 Perform a giveout/lottery/competition/etc
2. Site
2.1 Create site. Even a page for the beginning.
2.2 Add wiki, forum, etc
3. Exchange and so on
3.1 Cryptsy. Make them to add this coin.
3.2 QBIT/USD exchange
3.3 Online wallet
4. Services that accept QBIT
4.1 Create a site that will accept QBIT. It can be even mobile phone payment site or VPN accepting QBIT. Any online service will be perfect.

This is five main tasks.

Dear community members! Please post everything what can be an IDEA of this coin. Even freaky and strange things. Maybe it will be a hidden diamond in your opinion.

Dear developers! Please make a detailed description of the coin. Pay extreme attention to its strong sides. And create a social network community at last! I think we can find here a person who can support our community in social networks.

Dear pool owners! Please donate a small share for the coin development. I think that you can even increase fee, everybody will understand. Developers! You can create a special "status" or "rank" for donating pools (and later (after the site is created) for donating persons). It can be just an icon and a comment in the main thread and information on the site. Just to attract additional attention for such pools.

Abovementioned steps requires MINIMAL EFFORT and will provide reasonable effect.

This is a nice coin and I can see this coin having a future, but it needs  a Large and well ORGANISED Community, good marketing, promotion and BRANDING!!!

no self respecting developer would do it for 25,000 Qbits, which even at the prices that people are selling at currently (and I'm not sure if anyone is buying), comes to less than 250 USD.

This is a very good coin, but need dev'er to agree on symbol and logo.

I can not get the wallet sync in win xp 32bit.
Even adding addnodes to conf file, the wallet not sync waited for 30 minutes now..
Please help anyone.
