Thank you Roberto.

It now says "Catching up" "9 days behind", but there is a red mark on the bottom right screen which says "0 active connections found on Qubit network" Huh

Hi,

Trying to setup my wallet:

1.) Downloaded the wallet from:

windows wallet + windows daemon + qubitcoin.conf example =
https://mega.co.nz/#!WdxllJRA!BSUo5icYnlK1oLtF1aDLdXKPEboOBh0XxmqC2OYqcO0

2.) Opened the wallet

3.) Added all nodes listed in:

http://q2c-[Suspicious link removed]/nodes

But still wallet not syncing.

What is going wrong, please help, trying out for over a couple of hours.

Hello, yesterday i have the same problem!

Try to this node and remove all the other!! It work for me yesterday!!

Ok, I would say, we have a winner with the logo. Give the coins to ltcrstrbrt.

But more important: How is the coin called. Make a vote:
1. Q2B
2. QBT
3. QBIT
4. Other

If the dev doesn't show back up will anyone be willing to take over development of the coin?

I was thinking of adding this coin to Poloniex.com, but I'm a little concerned about the developer vanishing. Isn't this a time he should be actively promoting the coin? It seems a shame to go to the trouble of actually adding something to an altcoin, and then vanish--especially when there is an eager community.

Hi,

For solo mining, the steps are to install wallet and setgenerate = 1, is that it? Are we able to solo mine it at the moment? If not what are the steps to organize my software and join a pool? Please help.

Hi,

Put the qubitcoin.conf in your c:\users\NAME\Apps data\Roaming\qubitcoin\ or HOME in linux with;

rpcuser=ANY
rpcpassword=ANY
rpcallowip=192.*
server=1
addnode=148.251.3.84:7788
addnode=162.243.73.136:7788
addnode=113.120.143.180:7788
addnode=208.91.35.218:7788

And then point the Minerd at it; eg windows with 4 cores

C:\minerd\Minerd.exe -t 4 -a quark -o 127.0.0.1:4020 -u ANY -p ANY

For pool is even easier;
Find a pool (you can search this thread)  Grin
You sign up, create a worker.

Then point minerd at it

C:\minerd\Minerd.exe -t 4 -a quark -o stratum+tcp://mine2.coinmine.pl:4020 -u ANY.WORKERNAME -p ANY

Happy mining!  Grin

So, then I would say, everyone should use QBIT als name. It is really confusing to have different names for it. I send a pm to dev to update that with the first post...

Ok, I would say, we have a winner with the logo. Give the coins to ltcrstrbrt.

But more important: How is the coin called. Make a vote:
1. Q2B
2. QBT
3. QBIT

Oh misstype. I meant Q2C Smiley

no, i think its minerd -a qubit not minerd -a quark. This qubitcoin comes with a standalone miner. and not a clone  Smiley
