Logos are here: http://armarium.org/u/2014/01/22/vH3nj.png
Poll is here (I hope it will work fine): http://www.poll-maker.com/poll58655x8eC240C9-3

Current tasks and progress

2. Site
2.1 Create site. Even a page for the beginning. Page created. Site is under construction.
2.2 Add wiki, forum, etc. Site is under construction.
3. Exchange and so on First exchange started! http://poloniex.com/exchange

3.2 QBIT/USD exchange
3.3 Online wallet
4. Services that accept QBIT
4.1 Create a site that will accept QBIT. It can be even mobile phone payment site or VPN accepting QBIT. Any online service will be perfect.

Guys! We have real progress in QBIT moon program! And I like it  Cool

voted, good job my friend Wink
The winner in the end will have my 5k donation as promised and i will continue to support with small but frequent donations anyone will develop other features!

I'm sick of mining "cpu-coins" that have gpu-miner reserved and support projects of dishonest devs and speculators... i think this coin is different, this coin started only a few days ago without marketing, but also without cheating... and now the road to the moon has just begun!  Cheesy
very good job!

Hi all,

The admin of qubitcoin.net asked me for a script to add the Poloniex BTC/QBIT ticker to the site, so I wrote one up. If anyone else wants to put a BTC/QBIT ticker somewhere, PM me for the script.

Hey I've been using your exchange, working great so far. One problem I had when trying to withdraw my BTC; I couldn't withdraw the full amount, it kept saying I didn't have enough funds. It worked fine once I tried to withdraw 0.000001 BTC less than my total. Small bug.

Just a question to all of you Smiley
Sicne this qubit (qbit hehe) code is anyway different then quark... (its like half or less khs produced from cpu compared to quark ..) I am wondering what results you receiving from mining on yoour CPUs...

Share your results here Smiley What CPU you using and how many threads using from it to dig and how many per thread is giving khs Smiley

As myself I am using simple dual cores 3GHs pentium cores (well I put cheapest cpus into my rigs as I had in plans only gpu mining but yeah ...) and along with mining via gpu other currency I am able to dig qubit on each rig:
2 threads - each around 50-60 khs = total around 120 khs per machine. Have 5 rigs
Additionally using little 2 of my laps with I7 cores and by using 5 threads only on them (to not stress them...) I am getting around 23khs per thread on them...
So my total hash power on 5 rigs + 2 laps is around:
5x120 + 110x2 = 800-900khs (but on pool stat I see rounding between 650-1000...)

So whats your results mining this nice qubit coin ? Tongue

I would like to post my logo proposition - simple and elegant, but HOW can I insert image into my post?  if I click "image" icon it just puts img tags, but how can I upload that image into bitcointalk.org?

I used 3rd party image hosting. I didn't found any way to upload it here.

I hope I'm not too late for the Qbit logo competition.  I am not a grafix desiner (I'm a coder, web-developer and I'm working on a new Qbit website here), but I would like to suggest this as a CONCEPT.  If other grafix designers want to make it better, or make better variations please go ahead.

My rationalle behind this logo:

  • It must be SIMPLE
  • It must be UNIQUE
  • It must be INSTANTLY RECOGNISABLE
  • It must be so simple that you or anyone should be able to write it with a simple handwriting, like £ or $ or BTC or @ signs.
  • It's in the same style as the "@" symbol, which suggests that this currency is related to the Internet age.  Qbit is The internet money.
  • Colour is RED, because of Feng-Shui ... Red attracts Money.  So I would like this coin to have that kind of blessing and good luck from the start.

Take a pen and a piece of paper and try to write it down with a single continuous movement. Look how easy and unique it is.

Do you Like it?  Gdt52QoTgrg45ktvb98SSH22sfqVLG1yCV

I like this one. Simple yet powerful.
Like he said, if we write it down, we won't even have to stop drawing/writing the logo till it stop and complete 100%. and that makes it powerful.
It's like starting and ending it in 1 strike.
But, I prefer it blue.
Blue is like the color of the ocean, meaning it will deep inside everyone.

I don't know with you guys, but I like this one.
