well you sure spin it like a wallstreeter, you take a small pool which you 1/4 of the GH yourself. dont think that skews the numbers a bit? And somehow I dont think you would have posted this if your pool didnt come on top.
well good advertising anyways, but like most advertising, it is 99% meaningless spin.

What constitutes a "smart" miner. Your link does not let me see the contents.

A "smart" miner is defined as someone with hashing power over 10GH/s Stroking yourself (masturbation) is something best left to the confines of your own bedroom. Just because... (there are two separate points made here, not all are bolded) From Investopedia What Does Smart Money Mean? Cash invested or wagered by those considered to be experienced, well-informed, "in-the-know" or all three. Although there is little empirical evidence to support the notion that smart-money investments perform any better than non-smart-money investments do, many speculation methods take such influxes of cash very seriously

vlad, am I correct that the numbers in parentheses are (number.miners.above.10G/total.miners) if so, btcmine only has 1 miner above 10. Mainframe MC only has about 5, what am i missing here?

It's hashing power of 10GH+ miners / total hashing power . I should have been more clear on this in the post.
Also my data was taken at some particular time, and these things do tend to change over time, particularly for hopped pools.
I just want to make sure we have the data right. I am the only miner at btcmine with over 10g. I have been the only one since about the 20th of aug. just pointed 2.1g at mainframe to check it out. (5 vaporx rig). those vaporX's are the best cards i think. run cool and hard. oh, no nobody will be at btcmine with over 10

Ill jump in here briefly to correct you. No its not. We implemented PPLNS 1 week ago. No longer hoppable.

Im what you define as a non-smart-hopper, but that doesnt mean i like high powered miners screwing with my BTC.
Hoppers are for me mainly the whole reason i switched to a PPLNS pool. Hopped pools can be resolved from 'longer' blocks, but the short one s are totally screwed.
Any research into non-hopping is pretty much welcomed by me!

anything changed recently at mainframe? coz when i tested the pools myself a couple of weeks ago mainframe was not in the top 5 best paying.
any "smart miners" would be testing the results themselves.
