Hello to everyone.It's been some time since we launched GoldBars and things have developed considerably during that time, there's been alot of time and work focusing on the infrastructure, methodology and creating 100% new wealth as part of GoldBars GBS rather than focusing on building a coin purely for the purpose of mining and transaction. Due to the lengthy development SilverBars and PlatinumBars (amongst many others) will be launched in the future along, there is alot more planned, everyone will just need to be patient.
During the initial phase of development, the GoldBars concept rapidly changed from something that would be Gold Backed to something with a much greater value and purpose (after all it would not be good to ask the banks to double spend on already allocated gold resources).

The Infinite Wealth StrategyAs of yesterday as the lead developer, and chair of the not for profit organisation CCI, which has permission to deliver GoldBars, we have made formal contact with the United Nations requesting support for our work. Previously we have made contact with the International Red Cross and are awaiting a formal response, again we hope of support.
The reason for this is that GoldBars GBS is also referred to as Virtual Gold (or vGold) and is designed to power an entirely new virtual economy based on resources and commodities (such as gold) locked in other planets, stars and space matter. Essentially vGold (GoldBars GBS) is a conduit for the international community to borrow wealth against Gold deposits on Mars or other neighbouring planet, to do a number of important things;
1) to fund and pay for the colonisation and off world prospecting/mining of Mars (and or neighbouring planets)
2) to establish a new economy of resources for the planet of Mars to create new wealth and interplanetary trade
3) to fund directly humanitarian aid, conservation, remove poverty, tackle world debt, fund the improvement of life in all social classes
4) to inject capital against off world deposits into cryptocurrencies to introduce liquidity into the international fiscal system
Our strategy features a brand new Virtual Commodities Market (in development) linked to Virtual Gold, other Virtual Elements and not only provides humankind with potential abundant funds, but also provides governments with abundant international taxation potential, trading options, but most importantly tackles some of the most important problems facing our species and planet as population increases 4 times to 28 billion by 2095, namely beginning the off world colonisation process by funding international space programmes.
The beauty of our strategy is that;
1) it is 100% brand new wealth backed by resources locked in other planets
2) the wealth is infinitely scalable, so when the UN agree to unlock additional resource value for a particular purpose, new wealth can be created instantly and regulated
3) the world can borrow money to create jobs for everyone to build off world colonies, off world mining hardware, and build modular space craft, research new propulsion and more
4) it creates wealth opportunities for everyone, people at home, at work, with disabilities, in undeveloped countries, government, banks and traders
5) the amount of wealth that can be created is infinite, so we can tackle major Earth problems like never before
How Will It WorkSimply we are not creating cryptocurrencies, they are called Crypto Ores (or Virtual Ores) and are used as conduits to establish a new virtual economy (separate from an existing economy for monitoring, tracking and scalability). Some capital wealth (which is 100% new wealth) will be injected into cryptocurrencies (e.g. Earthcoin, Worldcoin etc that want to be a part of our strategy rather than rely on the markets to create value).
Virtual Gold (GoldBars GBS) will be linked directly to existing Gold market value (estimated at $500,000 per bar) to remove any potential for market manipulation and create the conduit for new wealth from other planets and stars. Once established this will provide application based funding for world projects, but at the same time inject capital into cryptocurrencies.
How Much New Wealth Will It Create
We have earmarked a creation of 480 million bars in total of GoldBars (240 million vaulted / locked for injection into cryptocurrencies and funding projects), the remaining 240 million were earmarked for direct mining by the public. This may change. Although what is clear is that this would create $243 trillion of brand new wealth, remove all current world debt, and provide enough money to fund projects on a scale never seen before, there would never be a global financial crisis ever again, and there would be no poverty.
Of the $127 trillion vaulted, this would be used to inject capital into cryptocurrencies, to give you an idea of what they would be worth (if chosen) here are some basic figures;
Bitcoin , $1 trillion of new vaulted wealth, 21 million coins, $40,000 each (est)
Worldcoin, $1 trillion of new vaulted wealth, 265 million coins, $3,600 each (est)

The beauty of this is that the coins are already mined and in circulation, with this strategy each coin would be a fixed value BUT would fluctuate up and down with the price of gold so it still presents trading options PLUS because the values are fixed, stable and linked to current markets Banks and Governments should have no problem (in association with the World Bank) guaranteeing cryptocurrency values.
Bitcoin has huge potential obstacles in its path, is unstable by value, is taking far too long to be adopted and is never going to create the VAULTED WEALTH necessary to tackle huge human projects and goals such as conservation. Crowdfunding provides little yield in comparison to charitable aid, its just not going to work. Although with a fixed price of $40,000 each Bitcoin becomes one of a number of potential conduits for introducing new wealth to society.
But GoldBars Isnt Synching, Its a Coingen, I Cant Mine ItGoldBars daemon is installed and running, granted with intermittent issues.
We have deliberately left it as a Coingen to avoid being placed on exchanges and devaluing our invention, it is a completely separate entity and powers a whole new market backed by real resources locked in other planets and working legally with the Outer Space Treaty 1967.
We have recently changed from a MPOS to NOMP pool, the transition has been successful, however experiencing a few issues at present.
To date we know that around 3 million bars have been mined, of which around 500,000 - 600,000 were premined to fund the CCI trust's work indefinitely. We are unsure of the future availability of mining GoldBars as it would only be appropriate for small amounts to be available for mining (and again something which is likely to be regulated in the future). So those lucky enough to have some GoldBars, it may be worth quite a bit in the future*

What's NextWe are working on getting our strategy accepted with the United Nations, and seeking to establish protection of our intellectual property and creation. Once we have protection and support we will be fundraising existing wealth (or using part of the premine as a loan until established so that we can employ a significant team to get this strategy moving). Ideally we would want to have a development team in place by the end of 2014, acknowledgement by world governments and working with economic thinktanks, Nasa and major world humanitarian organisations by this time next year with a full, legally accepted, and officially appointed strategy for creating 100% brand new wealth.
We've got alot to do. I am hoping that I will start to do some Radio talks, TV interviews and maybe even a TED talk, but that's all depending on advancing through the United Nations and gaining a greater understanding and acceptance of what we propose.

In ConclusionWe will be delivering SilverBars, PlatinumBars, and a fully fledged Virtual Commodities Market (subject to international support and acknowledgement of IP).
