It is possible for beginners to make a long-term strategy to hold altcoins in possession. As long as you know all the risks that will occur when the price is not in accordance with our expectations. A good Altcoin to hold in my opinion is NEO, ETH, and other tokens that currently exist like TRX.

Ethereum Litecoin Neo Cardano Iota EOS Ripple This altcoins are my currently hold for long term and I advise you should make a research before invest, don't just make decisions on what do you heard the other people. These well-known altcoins are always good for long-term investment and they are safe too, but another thing you can do is to invest a portion of your fund into some cheap altcoins, who knows some of these can make x50 or x100 in future. |

Can you suggest me which one is best Altcoin coin hold for 2018? there are many choices for now, you can buy bitcoin as the first choice investment or for the top 10 altcoins. so, you should research it and try to analyze the market. but I don't think that this year there will be a good enough movement in terms of growth. I think maybe early next year the market will start pumping |

So they have to have a lot of self-control, in order to avoid selling at the first dump, I still think ETH has a lot to offer, especially at this price that is criminally undervalued, so take advantage so you can make a good portfolio. |

Altcoins certainly don't look like the strongest picks right now, they are gradually losing steam against Bitcoin as people move their money into the more stable markets.
However if you really want to get into altcoin investing, try to stick with coins in the top 50-100 by market capitalization, you can definitely find some gems in there that have potential to multiply 2-5x in value over the coming months.
Some of the ones I would recommend is IOTA, NEM and Monero, these are all wildly undervalued and can easily multiply relatively quickly if they are adopted for their tech.

I'll suggest to you that Privcy is a great coin to hold. It is a privacy coin that has just recently launched (they are still in the airdrop phase). There isn't a large group of whales because they didn't do an ICO so it is more fairly distributed. The whitepaper is due to come out soon and the roadmap is packed full of objectives (which they have been hitting along the way). The community is great and I really think this coin is going to explode in price once the market bounces back. Disclaimer: I participated in all of the airdrops so far and have invested BTC into this project but that should be a given if I really believe what I said.

Can you suggest me which one is best Altcoin coin hold for 2018? Yes, why not. A beginner can do all he wants but just has to be smart in the actions. If we look at coins like PRG, ICX and LISK, then these are some great coins which a beginner can hold easily. |

Holding Altcoins for long term is always good for investment. According to me you can choose from top 20 altcoins invest like ETH, NEO, BCH, EOS, LTC. But do a good research before investing, as everyone has their own choice.

I suggest these coins: ETH, NEO, EOS, Stellar, LiteCoin.
My first priority is NEO because I think it has the highest potential and will give me the biggest profit. The second that I will choose is ETH. EOS, Stellar and LiteCoin I still do not invest in them yet but I think they are really good and worth for investing.

Hold is the basic rule to make a profit in a decentralized supply environment from the crypto ecosystem. Sure hold is still an optimal choice for novices and even those with experience. And in my opinion, hold and diversify is probably the ideal approach.

Ethereum shouldn't be that bad for a beginner to invest his money, it is a sure thing the could make profits out of it. It is more safer to invest on well-known altcoins if you are a beginner rather than to invest to those cheap prices Altcoins that you don't know when they are going to make a move to the moon. Also, if you are a beginner, it would be good if you are going to start with a small price and do Day Trading for you to learn in a haste way. Unlike if you are just going to hold your Altcoin, then there is nothing you could learn from that but be patient and be alert because you might miss the opportunity to sell your Altcoin |
