Please sign me up for both the World Cup and Premier League pools at 25 pounds (not dollars?) each. 100 pounds/dollars seems a bit of a gamble for me at the moment and you all seem to be quite good if I peek at the last pool thread. So how does this work, we just sign up an account at that FIFA game website and post our results here every week? Looks like I need to explore that a little.

For Premier League, is it possible to confirm if I can participate later, maybe after World Cup? I want to join it (the small $25 one and maybe the big one too) but maybe not to pay so soon. It depends on what happens after the world Cup. I wanted to join earlier but it is maybe better to start fresh so this is good. Thank you.

Yeah, that's fine. Money won't be collected until a week or two before the start of the season for the Premier League.

Belgium have the best team on paper but can they gel together as a team? They were my favourites to win the Euros in 2016 but that didn't happen and they lost to Wales in the semis, but they're always worth putting a bit of money on since the odds are usually pretty good.

You won't need to post them here, though you can post your pics after if you wanted. I've been thinking we can do both pools for the World Cup then add the points together from both at the end of it. Ie we do the FIFA prediction and another where you pick the scores for every game like we do on the BBC Premier League.

It would be nice if we do the FIFA correct score or result of each game here in a Games and Rounds topic. As I have already said the only downfall of this is that someone may copy some other one predictions when he doesn't feel in the mood to make them himself. I think it would be fun to do World Cup both ways.

I would rather wait to a week or so before to collect all the money in so everyone pays in the same amount in bitcoin. I can send you an address if you want though but if the value lowers you'll have to make up the difference to what everyone else has paid in. Won't you be getting another signature payment before then anyway?

I don't think that this would be a problem. If you look at the official website for both bracketchallenge and predictor FIFA is showing you the most popular prediction made by other players for both each match and each bracket. However I am not saying that they are right but it could serve as your basis for your own predictions, same as what NBA ODDs players are doing researching what is the most popular bet for that game.
