BTC isn't dead at all. Not until a central bank decides to 51% attack it that is. Glad I'm invested in peercoin

Why can't peercoin be 51% attacked?

Peercoin is not protected from such attacks. Check it here:

http://peercoin.net/#collapseTwo

I do not know if any crypto is protected against such attacks. I do not know about the nxt coin which is a completely different thing compared any other public crypto.

It's a different algorithm, I don't know exactly how it works. You should read up on it

Charts of bitcoin prices over time show it held roughly the same value for long periods, then quickly jumped up and down for brief periods. It made the news when it jumped to $100 then fell back down and again after it hit $1000+. Maybe it will settle down to a steady price for a few months then start wildly fluctuating aain.
