It does us all some good if large retailers take up trade in bitcoin.  Therefore, I suggest we all go to Overstocked and buy something with bitcoin out of principle.  Once they report the numbers being so positive, other retailers will take up bitcoin too.

For example, here are some nice German flannel sheets.  http://www.overstock.com/Bedding-Bath/Ultra-soft-Heavyweight-6-ounce-German-Flannel-Hemstitch-Sheet-Set/409649/product.html?refccid=I7CYUYK4SSZKY62EEMDWLMEDJQ&searchidx=1  Since your sheets probably stink by now as you haven't changed them in a very long time, what better time to get some new sheets?   Besides, your ugly girlfriend will be very impressed by your clean bed and she might actually begin to put out again.  Now, what does a bitcoin nerd need more than additional attention from his girlfriend?  Get going.  Send a fraction of a bitcoin to Patrick Byrne - improve your sex life and promote use of bitcoin by retailers all at the same time.  Don't do it tomorrow, do it now.

Same. I'd probably buy something to support them as long as their prices are decent.

Their prices are actually excellent.  They sell stuff at very heavy discount in a liquidation scheme to reduce manufacture inventory.  Not only are they smart about setting prices, they are also smart about using currency.

I've heard the opposite. Somebody was saying that a to buy a phone from there was like nearly triple the price or something than they could get it elsewhere.

I've ordered some things in the past from Overstock (before they took bitcoin) and find them to have good deals on random stuff. I would'nt buy a cell phone from them though i don't think.
