Sure, if you can run bfgminer you should be good to go.  (Don't use cgminer, they don't support GPU or Scrypt).

Hi,

I think I've created an account on orgcoin.org but I can never login. It always gives the error "Failed login attempt, please try again." My username is Najska. Any help will be appreciated.

And I'll be so glad if you add me to beta.

Sure, if you can run bfgminer you should be good to go.  (Don't use cgminer, they don't support GPU or Scrypt).
Thanks for the answer. This will be my first mining experience so I need some further help. I used the command "./bfgminer --scrypt -O pool.orgcoin.org:9327 -u [my litecoin address with which I registered to the pool] -p [my password]" and that's what Terminal says: No URI supplied for pool 0.

Thanks

Thanks for your hardwork!  I pulled the Foundation Wallet out of cold storage and am currently resyncing the chain then I'll get the bounty sent out on this.

Trying the windows wallet.  Downloaded and started one hour ago.  4 active connections.  Still at 269 weeks behind with no movement on synchronization bar.  Will report back...

You need the blockchain snapshot from here...
https://github.com/openpay/orgcoin-blockchain

I'll wrap up an installer that includes the blockchain snapshot and get it up somewhere folks can download it.

After unzipping orgcoin-blockchain.tar.gz

and placing the resulting data in

%APPDATA%\OrgCoin

I'm only 4 weeks behind.  ;-)

Guess you could've used the new windows installer and it would have done all that for you.

Oh BTW I can't edit this thread, but we might want to make this new announcement a bit more prominent somehow...
