Good to see that people are doing their homework, but yes we are Legit.
Just got ourselves up and running in the last few days... three guys in London, all of us had enough with the amount of bs with getting miners etc so to cut a long story short that's how HASHRA came into being....

One of us "John" is the guy with the contacts in China / Hong Kong.

Your right, this is just the registered address that our accountant used to set up the company through a formation company (through companiesmadesimple.com). In the UK you have to set up a registered company address when you register with Companies House.

At the moment we are operating from our homes, in London. Not ideal and we are looking for a small industrial unit in London right now. The plan is to provide a service where people can come and collect from us and we maybe offer a repair/parts service too.
Right now we are ok as we are shipping direct from Hong Kong to customers, we are not storing anything in London.

We had the choice of putting one of our home address's as the company address or set up a registered address, as you can imagine non of us jumped at the choice of having our home address all over the www.

Its all completely legal and above board, Lots of companies do this. I know that address we are currently using is home to hundreds of companies some well known companies too.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any further questions.

290GH BS? Well yes, it can get to 290 but no for steady overclocking 240-250 is about right.

We do state this on our website.

Seriously, you can't just go around calling people scammers on the internet before you know what your talking about.

We are trying to set up a legit business, not doing pre-order etc or anything like that. We are just selling Miners that we know for sure we can send out to our customers. We only work with a couple of suppliers that we have done business with already and know very well and have a close relationship with.

As far as I am aware we have had no complaints from our customers, no one has disputed anything on this forum. Nobody here on this post has tried to contact our company as far as I am aware of and yet you are ready to call us scammers?

Please guys come on, we are on your side. HASHRA was actually set up as a result of us been scammed ourselves.

my taobao id is :ftmm1234

ccmbc is a fucker scammer

in 2013.9.25  i found ccmbc sell his 128gh/s asic miner but More expensive then other 110gh about 30%

he tell me that it run in 400mhz with 128gh,and it can overlock to 450 at 140gh

so i belive him and give a order and pay all the money  22888 rmb about 3691$ in ”taobao“

he promise me in telephone himself that it will be ship to me before 2013.10.15 and

if its delay he will  make up for my lost with 128g pps per day。 and i promise that
i will not returned purchase even if the asci is go down in price。

but it s come to 2013.10.15 he tell me sorry and it must be delay 。
and this time other asci  go down in price to 9000rmb about 1450$
so i went to returned purchase 。because our trade in taobao。
Taobao system have a rule that i can get back my money if i complaint in time limit。
he promise will make up for all of my lost with btc。
so for my promise i decide to acdept it。

final i was fool at all
i got the machine 2013.10.25  but  i was shocked to found it is in 110g not the 128gh!
ccmbc tell me in icq that this asic is 120g and he will make up the lost speed with 1 btc!
but flinal i found the the maximum overlock is  114g not 120g or 128g!

but The next days cmmbc fooled me again and again!!!!
and he just treat his promise as a shit !!!
i had call him over 100times and he just pick up 20 time every times
he promise to make up my lost。evey times he tell me he is busy and
other ones will contact me,but  nothing happen
.i complain in the cmmbc clients  QQ group and he  kicked me out of it 。
final in 2013.12.20 ,he he decide to make up 2.1btc to me
but finaly to now i cant contact him and his grounp any more!!!

not me but so many his  clients  think cmmbc is a theater and  scammer!!!!!!

Guys

I ordered a CCBMC 230GH/s Miner last Tuesday, it arrived via DHL in Canada last Friday.

Pretty high quality unit and seems stable. Power supply stepped down to 110v - i hear some Chinese units can't.

Only issue i've found after a week is that it runs pretty hot. It can struggle living in the same Datacenter as open mining boards.

Good experience using the CCBMC stuff so far.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Good thing you're dealing with hashra and not ccmbc then, huh?  Yes, I know the hardware is ccmbc, but you're ordering from hashra, and they're dealing with the manufacturer.  No reason to sling mud at the wrong people.  Also, you're bringing up a complaint from 4 months ago about a different piece of hardware.  Everything in your post is pretty much irrelevant.

I ordered a CCBMC 230GH/s Miner last Tuesday, it arrived via DHL in Canada last Friday.
Thanks for the info.  Mind posting a picture of the unit, and/or the purchase receipt (with sensitive info blocked out)?  It'll go a long way towards reinforcing hashra as legit and shipping.

@StevenJ: I applaud you for setting all this up, and taking the time to address the speculation coming from this thread.  Nicely done.  :-)  Now run while you can; this place never stays sane for long.

I confirm that in the Chinese Bitcoin community, CCBMC(黄雄奇) is a notorious name.

I see that the store which sells the product are different persons than CCBMC, so no offence intended to OP.

OK, just to put the record straight HASHRA has nothing to do at all with the manufacturer CCBMC.

We have a very close relationship with a supplier/agent in China that I trust 100% and have been working with for a long time. How HASHRA deals with this agent is that we purchase the units from the agent and that agent puts them to one side. That stock is now reserved for HASHRA.
So that we do not have to handle with the logistics, warehousing, VAT etc we ship orders direct to you from our agent. Our longer term project is to set up camp in Hong Kong and develop our own miner to sell... but that's another story.

With regards to the CCBMC it clearly looks that they pissed a lot of people off in China during the development of it. I'm not sure of the exact details but I think they promised a price, couldn't deliver as promised and didn't refund buyers. But don't quote me on any of that.

My agent doesn't work for CCBMC and is an independent agent but managed to get 100 units.

I'm sorry that people got screwed over by CCBMC but I think it is clear we have nothing to do with them directly.

At HASHRA We are now no longer selling the CCBMC, getting loads of people from China getting in touch with us trying to get hold of CCBMC to claim refunds, legal action etc.

With regards to the machine I can tell you it's all Avalon Clone tech. I think CCBMC took lots of deposits off people in China and then didn't return funds or sent the machines really late or not at all. I'm not sure of the exact details but it all seems pretty dodgy and HASHRA is now staying clear of it, just not worth the hassle and we don't want our company associated with it at all.

Just a warning to others, I think CCBMC is still operating but under different names within the industry.

Anyway I hope anyone in China that lost money to CCBMC gets it resolved.

From now on at HASHRA we are just selling Antminer S1's, Avalon Clones and Block Erupter Cubes.

Yes, our partner in China was one of the lucky few that got some of the Gridseed Scrypt modules and we have reserved with him a number of units. As soon as Gridseed starts shipping we will get some. Nobody can give an exact date yet but I would be very surprised if they don't start shipping in the second half of Febuary.

With regards to if we are real or not... I can say I feel very "real'. Joking aside I will leave it to you to be the judge of that. We are a very new company and to be honest this all got started because we were looking for hardware ourselves. Myself "Simon" have a lot of connections in China so getting started with suppliers wasn't an issue. We are a very new company, not even a month old... but then time moves fast in the Bitcoin world.

Oh... we do also have a video made, not great but does show you the Gridseed our partner got his hands on... http://youtu.be/lM-MEoJGpj8

/facepalm

The gridseed devices are not scams.  Aside from his video clip at the end of the actual device hashing, there are numerous reports of these devices in the field, and en route to members of this community and the litecointalk community.

Sometimes I don't know why I bother.  Trolls will troll.  These devices will ship either way.

With regard to if this is a scam or not, I'm sorry to tell any gpu miners but no this is not a scam.
ASIC scrypt mining is here and these things will start shipping soon.

I know they are also working on a box unit that will do at least 12 mh/s.
Looking at the size of these things a case miner with 12 mh/s is very possible.

In case you want to check it out yourself here are some links that will help your own investigating:

That's right, HASHRA doesn't have them.
Our supplier in China has one set of 10 USB modules, that is what you see in the video and pictures.

Yes, the video has lots of pictures in it but there is a part of it that has our supplier on video using the Gridseed.

Gridseed have made it very clear that they have not decided yet on who the distributors will be and if anyone tells you different then they are lying. They are obviously closed right now for CNY so we should expect more details after the 10th Feb.

We have a supplier that we have used a lot China and he has a close connection with Gridseed. It would be very unlikely that they did not allow them to distribute them.

As a back up we have two other suppliers in China that we have worked with in the past that also got hold of some of the test batch and have applied to be distributers.

On top of that we ourselves have applied to be a distributer for the UK and Europe. So right now if Gridseed do release these we are confident we will have access to them. If for any reason Gridseed do not release them then we offer our customers a full refund. All this is on our website.

Just found this site since the guy who owns it tried to join our FB group, so legit or scammer?

hashra.com - CCBMC 230 GH/S Bitcoin Miner,
http://hashra.com/ccbmc-230-gh-s-bitcoin-miner/

Legit attempt to start up a business. So far everything their claim can be proved and I did not come across any inconsistency when examining their Internet page.

http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/hashra

http://hashra.com/about/

Quote
After we the founders (Simon and Steven) were continuously let down by suppliers for miners that never materialized or arrived on time resulted in us creating direct partnerships with suppliers in China for our own mining hardware. It wasn't long till we realized that our partnerships could benefit other Crypto miners and so HASHRA was born.

I'm not vouching for them but just so you guys know they are still selling at a profit. The reason why it seems so cheap is because other resellers are selling at over 100% profit margins which is ridiculous if you ask me, especially when the tech isn't even a proven stable yet

Just some information to the community:

Just met Simon of Hashra for a long coffee talk. It was very interesting. They are gridseed's biggest customers and he is getting new supply every few days. He has videos of the miners working and is building up the infrastructure in Hong Kong. He told me that latest batch of miners were shipped last week and they should arrive soon.

Everything he told me checked out and Simon is a genuine and intelligent guy who knows what he is doing. He is super busy with setting up a good infrastructure but there will be soon updates, videos etc of the working miners. Definitely trustworthy and I have no problem ordering a few miners from him.

We expect all shipments to go out within 7 days of payment being verified though due to the very high demand right now for this unit please allow up to 14 days though this really is worst case scenario.

I was really hoping the email that was sent on 23 Feb meant they could get orders shipped within 7 days if not earlier (thus my prompt order).. but now heading into business day #8 and no shipping/tracking.. I would hope that there is an update by end of the week.. putting that 14 day "worst case" scenario blurb in there puts a lid on any excessive bitching from me until 13 Mar..

Any update? Hope it works out I have been looking at them and a bunch of others.

Negatory - still "awaiting shipment"

Still two days away from the up to 14 day "estimate" of actual shipping from the email I received.

Not really thrilled thus far on waiting this long.. I expected faster turn around.

Update:  The status of order #XxX is now Shipped

DHL tracking # provided as well...

Hi there Simon ( hashra.com - Director ),

I am looking to purchase the "GRIDSEED 6 MH/S SCRYPT & SHA MINER (Including PSU & Accessories) package"
http://hashra.com/gridseed-6-mh-s-scrypt-sha-miner-including-psu-accessories/

Looking to run them on my Windows PC using the modified Miner Software ( hope I can get this from You as well ? )

I noticed you guys state 6MH/s - Correct me if I am wrong but I was hoping 20 of those miners can do at least 7000 KH/s without Overclocking.
Some sellers on EBay state 350 KH/s per one unit.

I really hope they can do this much without overclocking on 800 Frequency.

Anyway..I am traveling to London in couple of days and would love to meet you in person to discuss this transaction and to see the miners in action before making the purchase.

Looking forward to your Reply.

Best Regards

Well - today is the official 14th business day since my order and while I have received a DHL tracking number, the current status showing "shipment info received".. doesn't appear to actually be in transit... I am disappointed with the turnaround time and speed of this operation.  I could have bought from a US re-seller at the same price point and maybe even lower now for the same gear... which may actually have arrived sooner as right now it appears this will go into next week.

Not impressed at all with Hashra at this point in the process.

I have now canceled my order at hashra.

Is there anyone who has already received a miner from hashra ?

I buy the miner now from a reseller in my country Germany. So I have better opportunities to get back to my Money.
