It appears your miners run cgminer? What driver do they use, and if it's your own driver, where is the source code to your driver?

Aren't they just hashfast boards?

I couldn't find any reference to that in the opening post.

They are just hashfast boards. They might not want to admit it, but they are. They are hashfast chips but could be custom made pcb boards.

HashCoins Apollo, Zeus and Poseidon (discontinued) miners are indeed built using HashFast's chips on a custom PCB, redesigned and upgraded from those of HashFast.
The previous version of our web-interface is based upon cgminer, that's why we have no reason to publish the source, because it is the same.

Thanks for clarifying. I would buy a unit of yours just chances of me breaking even even at your black friday deal prices are still unlikely.

This company almost looks fake.

Why are they selling "Apollo v3" which is 550 gh/s per chip at 0.9 w/gh

And "Zues v3" which is 900 gh/s per chip at 0.65 w/gh. Seems like BS if you ask me.

Why are you even selling the old boards then? Why not rip the chips out of the old boards and put them in new boards if you will get such massive improvements?

The reason I'm suspicious is because no other company using HF chips can get anywhere close to your specs. Hopefully you can send dogie a zues board to test and prove your amazing claims.

What is the cost / price, including shipping and peripherals required?
What is the mining potential of the unit at the earliest delivery date?
Will it return you BTC for BTC?
Will it return you $$$ for BTC to $$$?

At this point why is anyone buying units?

Everything available now going to sold as Personal Lottery Machines right just like Dogie to ignore the losses for those buying these units?  (Josh Zerlan used to call them Magic Money Making Machines... wow what progress.)

Of those who ordered HF chips nobody really has done any redeisgn (apart from some minor adjustments by Peppermining) and we didn't use the manufacturers for the PCB that HF themselves recommended in their BOM. For example, we changed the capacitors to a more effective model that was designed specifically for us, installed additional passive cooling to the board, and many other things. That allowed us to equalize the voltage for the most powerful (but not the most economical) ASIC on the market, to achieve higher frequencies and lower power consumption at higher hashrate. As a result we have an excellent board but at a high price. We initially planned to continue developing that direction, however, the competition didn't allow it (the ASIC is properly cooled but still with a considerable power consumption). Thus, we decided to design our own energy-efficient chip.

Regarding, the question of removing the chip from the board and installing it to another board. I would like to ask you a countering question: what do you know about PCB manufacturing? What is their production cost? And value of time in the mining business? Analogically you can buy 10 Porsches and 10 Opels and start switching engines. Back to the point, we have a number of ready boards for Apollo v3 and Zeus v3 and we know perfectly well what to do with them.

Additionally, if you are a highly qualified specialist, please send your CV to: jobs@hashcoins.com
