I ordered 2 Ares and I just received the first one today. I'm going to fire up the unit and will let you guys know how it performs. Thank you Hashcoins for shipping this unit and getting it to me before the holiday.

Well, how it's doing?

I ordered a thermaltake 1200 watt powersupply from newegg and learned that it wasnt enough juice. I contacted support and they gave me options on power supplies to buy. I'm just waiting for the new ones to arrive.

Any update on the Triton miner? ordered  way back in May. Not sure what my miner compensation will be as I ordered the original Triton which is no longer listed. My emails have gone unanswered.

I would also like to see an update on Hashcoins. I see some people claim to have gotten a product while others are saying their support emails are going unanswered. Can anyone here clarify for me whether Hashcoins is still a reputable company?

Dr Charles, my two cents are: the company is reputable, as well as it exists and delivers.

Are you a product owner? Do you know the quality products provided? I see a Dogie review on the Apollo but nothing on the Zeus miner.

For example... the Zeus Miner listing states 4,500Gh and 2,800 watts at the wallet and shows an efficiency of .65W/GH...

Well simple math shows you that if the unit produces 4,500GH and should draw .65w per GH then the actual consumption would be 2,925watts or am I missing something?

Because if the unit is as listed in their description it would actually have an efficiency of .62w/GH.

Thank you.

Firstly, we are not obliged to prove absolutely anything to you personally. Secondly, you devalue our name and image. And thirdly, if you deem you have superior privileges and rights to disgrase our company publicly, then you should firstly get an official response from us about your claims.

Our company does not involve itself in betting - it is immoral. Please, MrTeal, jimmothy and IYFTech, publish your real names (yes, the same ones that are written in your passports) in this thread and send a scan or photocopy of you ID to info@hashcoins.com, and I am the one who is personally going to show you how our board works, in the court of law. And it may be too late to feel bitter whilst looking at the amount of the claim that you will be charged for defamation, false information and insinuation, which discredited the name of my company. If this request is not followed, then I will no longer respond to any of your claims.

Regards,
Sergei Potapenko.

PS! I'm not going to send boards or prove something to any user at his/her request. Especially when put in conditions including, but not limited to, blackmailing, frightening and putting negative trust in advance and just because. The fact that your status reads "hero" or "legendary" - to me just says that you have a lot of free time and you sit on the forum for a long time and write a lot. But in fact - I do not even know who each of you are! I understand... The Internet, anonymity, etc. But you defame the real name of a real company, and my name in particular. So I repeat: putting forward these claims, insulting, and already having discredited our name in advance, I did not think it necessary to prove you anything. We do not negotiate with blackmailing instigators.

No passport, but would this suffice?

Say the word, and I'll publicly publish my SSN. Wait, I've already done that on this forum, thus would have no qualms with doing it again.

My 2 cents: I used to go to school with one of the employees, havent bought any hardware, but am familiar with how they operate and seen their setup with my own two eyes. You don't have to take my word on this, I am only affiliated to HashCoins via proxy(classmate), but I just think all this bad rep their way is unjustified. Due to the nature of the supply chain, the business model is sub-optimal, but its what they have.

If direct questions were asked then it would give management a chance to respond to any queries rather than resorting to some internet-board rabbling, fingerpointing and "I dare you"s. Maybe its time for moderators to clean the thread up and make it a more direct Q&A - style thread.

PS. just want to reiterate that i dont own a miner, am not affiliated with HC, I just own a few GH/s in the cloud and have a good friend working there who just shared some of the frustration surrounding this topic.

Another noob who can vouch for hashcoins legitimacy. I guess we can rest assured they are not a scam now. /s

Maybe you can ask ckolivas to clean up this thread. Oh wait that's right, the moderator/cgminer dev is the one calling out hashcoins for faking cgminer stats.

A better idea would be to ask your "friend" why he refused to send Mr Teal a zues board for 100 BTC. That's 100 times the market value and it would dispel the overwhelming doubt surrounding this extremely shady company.

There are only two reasons I can think of why they might not want to accept Mr Teals offer, either they hate money/sales or they are scammers.
