Can you add more info on your OP other than from your website?
At least people can check what's going on here at a glance.
By the way, thanks for the LVT coins. Hope you will continue the development even though very few participated.
Maybe people thought that this is a forgotten project.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

@blockaid.net, thank you for checking, that is a good thing. The code will be cleaned in the next version.
If you look at the results of your virus check, you read they are not mentioning a virus, but a miner program, and that is correct, you can currently mine LVT very easily with your Levitate wallet.

At all posting in this thread; if you feel the urge to post your doubts about Levitate, feel free to do so. That's OK, please just try to keep some sense in your comments. Thanks.

Hi. How can I mine your coin through the wallet? Sorry if this is a 'newbish' question, but I'm kind of new to this.

I'm too late to get free LVT coins.  Sad  What impressed me here is the financial forecast that the Dev presented on his website. Just to give you a snippet ---

up until -

This is my first time to see breakdown of expenses as detailed as this. Usually, it's the pie chart and the corresponding percentage of the distribution of the total supply. Maybe the Dev can update this month by month also, how much is the actual coins spent. Though, you will not find nice graphics on his website, yet, the significant info is there. Good luck!

Good start. Now - what exchange will host this beautiful promising  Wink coin? Binance will be the best imao but Cryptopia is also ok. When mooning?

Binance and moon expectations already? LOL

This project only just launched and it's not exactly a multi-million dollar ICO Cheesy

Currently work is in progress on a Levitate Pool, we hope to have it up and running soon. Once it is up, we will notify here.

Thanks to a contribution of TimeTeller, you can now also have Levitate on your Raspberrry Pi 3B/3B+ Debian.
You can download the files on https://levitatecoin.org/index.php/wallets

Thanks also DigithusiastCheesy
The pi wallet is for users who want to mine this coin at extremely low energy consumption.
So you don't have to worry about your bill at the end of the month while getting extra income.

Not expectations bro - absolute, total, unshakable confidence  Grin And the fact that ts did not robbed poor forum klingons for millions of dollars well thats an advantage.

Yes, I agree. He didn't ask anything from the users here for fast cash.
So, I believe this project has a long term goal.

We have build a Levitate minining pool. Please note it is in Beta, so some hick-ups could occur.
It is tested with the cpu miners available here: https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt/releases
These cpuminer programs will probably be flagged/blocked/quarantined by your antivirus software,
you can solve that by marking it as an exception in your virusscanner and firewall.

The mining pool is online at: http://85.214.88.103/

An example of the contents of a start.bat file you have to create in your cpuminer folder is:

cpuminer-aes-sse42.exe -t 5 --cpu-priority=0 -a scrypt --url stratum+tcp://levitatepool.org:3008 -u LPfdNvenkLcwYGSTKnX75AJ5DMwZv9nibK -p c=LVT

  • 1 - Make sure to set the cpu characteristics like "cpuminer-aes-sse42.exe" according to your own cpu (read the information in the readme.txt that comes with the cpuminer software)
  • 2 - Replace the -t value with the number of cpu threads/cores your processor has, or better put it at least 1 lower so your computer keeps running OK. In example, if you have a 2 threads or 2 cores processor, set -t 1
  • 3 - Replace the LVT address in the line above with your own LVT address

Once you have created the start.bat with your own tailored command-line, you save it and doubleclick it to start mining.
Always keep an eye on your cpu temperature when mining, by using i.e. a program like Core Temp: https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

My Wallet under win x64 working really fine all those days. Just read the manual carefully or point here what issue under Linux do you have with your wallet.

so if you pay attention to certain shortcomings in the work of the wallet, then the developers and managers working on this purse will be able to troubleshoot any of your problems and respond timely to your appeal.

When ASIC owners begin to mine a coin - we will meet them with looks full of cold contempt. As for the exchange Cryptopia will do.

the difficulty has gone to about 15x already. but im wondering bout the supply of levitate from the explorer. something went wrong?

cryptopia is already a large exchange and expensive one. maybe start from a known small one?

Levitate and the Levitate Mining Pool http://85.214.88.103/ support GPU mining

If you like to use your Graphics Card for mining LVT, download the mining software cgminer-3.7.2 for you computer. If you have windows, you can dowload it here: https://levitatecoin.org/images/cgminer-3.7.2-windows.zip
Extract the zip-file on your computer and edit the START-MINING-LVT.bat file with notepad. Change the LVT address to your own address, save and close the file.
Doubleclick START-MINING-LVT.bat to start mining.
If you like, you can finetune the settings by consulting the Readme.txt and GPU-readme.txt that are included.

Please take into account Levitate is only 7 days old and accomplished quite a lot in just 7 days.
Levitate is powered by itself, without asking anyone to pay for anything upfront.
Currently our first goal is to build a broad userbase; we need a lot more people with a Levitate wallet and a lot more people mining and collecting LVT,
which is currently very easy to do with a CPU and/or GPU as difficulty is still low and Block Reward is still very high.

As stated in the Forecast on the Levitate website, we project Exchanges into play by November 2018.
Please bear with us and be patient, your patience will be rewarded in time. Thanks & have a great weekend.

Make sure to also include the levitate.conf file. You can download it here: https://levitatecoin.org/index.php/wallets and edit it to your wishes. Put it in the same folder as the other 3 files.
Start the Levitate daemon in Linux with this command in the folder where the 4 files are located:

./levitated -daemon

a.o. you can use these commands a few minutes later after the blockchain has synched:

./levitate-cli getinfo
./levitate-cli getmininginfo
./levitate-cli getaccountaddress ""
./levitate-cli encryptwallet
./levitate-cli getwalletinfo
./levitate-cli getbalance
./levitate-cli stop
