cgminer does no longer support scrypt, and there are no official cgminer builds for windows with scrypt.

Not sure if you are just trolling or you actually don't know what you are talking about.

Of course cgminer does not support scrypt. You need cgminer 3.7.2, which is the last version supporting scrypt. There's no issue to solve. At least not at the side of the coin devs.

it tells 100 Second Blocks, while in the real its 600 Seconds. Attempt to fool people or just laziness to clean up site?
2. You complain about low hashing rate, imagine this: newbie comes to pxl and wants to mine it, he goes to http://pool.pxlcoin.com
what does he see?
outdated information about mining: http://pool.pxlcoin.com/index.php?page=gettingstarted
he has NO idea what version of miner to use
he has NO working binaries for windows with which u can mine pxl coin
he just downloads the latest version of cgminer to know that scrypt support was dropped, he goes mine DOGE because it has PRECISE and CORRECT instructions how to start

IMHO, site looks unprofessional, it will scare a lot of people, though idea of coin is pretty nice.

We plan to add a walk through for newbies on pxlcoin.com soon. Right now we are focused on the crypto community and working on getting the coin stable and on a few exchanges. Once that happens we will begin really marketing the site and that includes adding more content to pxlcoin.com.

The /info site is old and based on an old spec sheet. I did not realize it was coming up on google. I will remove.

Finally, I would like to announce that after much deliberation we have decided to make some changes to the pxlcoin protocol. We will no longer employ a difficulty retargeting system similar to Bitcoin and Litecoin and instead switch to a dynamic retargeting system. We will be releasing more details soon. In the meantime, please be prepared to upgrade your client as soon as it is released as this will be a mandatory critical update.

Some valid points this is a new coin and we have been busy on the new client (testing out multiple dynamic re-targeting methods, and trying to select the best one for PXL)finding a good balanced solution that should make everyone happy(er) (miners,traders,hoarders,PXL'rs, and of course devs too). (low bloat,steady creation rate, long term,etc, .. etc)

btw, will also be doing an update to git later today.

I think this coin is flying very low under the radar and will soar soon, it is a great example of real world application instead of speculative uses and I remember the craze of the 1st million dollar homepage in '05.

Good news, http://pool.pxlcoin.com/index.php?page=dashboard is patched to the latest git and re-target stats now functioning correctly.

The latest patch (1/2) on git is not mandatory and we will not be releasing bins until next update which will be posted soon (to avoid any confusion with updates), however if you would like to compile it for whatever reason go for it, you will have to update once again with the 2nd patch.

We have two candidates for the dynamic re-targeting  , just working on the final small details and planning a smooth transition at the right time.
