Not understand : difficult jump negative and payouts lower?

The thing is though everyone seems to make the same assumption that PBM's payout Algorithm is directly related to the level of Difficulty perhaps to the exclusion of lots of other possible factors such as electricity costs, equipment failure, building costs, heating / cooling etc etc

AND because no-one here knows exactly how their Algorithm works it's pure speculation on our part as to what we THINK the Payouts should be !

So until PBM decide to be more open about it there's absolutely no point in getting overly excited about something which is completely out of our control
"PBM's payout Algorithm is directly related to the level of Difficulty" = GH/s !!! It is simply hash power. Just a question of Mathematics.

"equipment failure" = PBMining promised "No Downtime".

"how their Algorithm works" = The difficulty is a simple number:

Code:
$per24 = ($totalHashingPower * 25 / $difficulty) * (60 * 60 * 24 * 65535 * pow(10,6) / pow(2,48));

my payout was short 14%..... what has been going on - i have not roi - i dont like this

HOW do you know it was short 14% when you don't know how PBM calculate their Payouts ?

You're making an assumption based upon what some other website has calculated aren't you ?

PBMining is a ponzi scam. It's really that easy. PBMining isn't really mining. It is just a fake mining service.

The mining of BTC is an inexact Science what with all the competition between the various Mining Pools for the newly generated Blocks !

Have a read of some of the Mining Pool threads and read about how many hours can go by without success ...

If it is, it´s the strangest ponzi scheme I´ve heard of.

Very unusual. They tend to collapse fairly quickly.

This one is still paying and now even preventing the victims

from spending more:

Our hash power is currently sold out.

Strange.

I got paid ... I got paid close to 12 hours later than on previous times, but I did get paid.
The payment is lighter than expected by about 8%, but I did get paid.

I would normally reinvest 100% back into PBM ... With no hash power currently available and the disturbing tone of this thread, I am now looking for a new investment option.

What do you people suggest ... Who is considered to be reliable and legitimate ?

Well, according to the sherlocks that thing down in Panama

is about the only 100% non-scam thing around.

Sorry my crystal ball is out of order and very cloudy at present ... What is "that thing down in Panama" ??

Ask the sherlocks. They have been promoting it.

You mentioned it Galdur ... So I'm asking you as I have no idea who the "Sherlocks" are ...

They´ll pop up here soon I´m sure.

It´s the first time for a year that they´ve been absent

from this thread for full two hours.

You either know what "that thing down in Panama" is OR you don't know ...
If you do know, what's the big deal with simply typing the name of it here ?
Or are you just being deliberately evasive and obstructive ?

I've asked a perfectly civil question asking for peoples recommendation on reliable, legitimate alternatives to PBM.
I don't think it's too much to expect a reasonable answer.

He is talking about havelock investments being based out of panama.

currently AMhash1 2 & 3 have been listed on havlock as mining units for sale to the public.

You can also buy Amhash in bulk direct from AMhash, contact details on amhash.com

you can also buy using their other third party, hashie.co, but i know very little about hashie.

Amhash ran by asicminer/bitfountain are very much so real and not a scam and are not based out of panama

Thank you for that ... I'll do the research and see if what they offer is worthwhile ... I sure hope so as I'm seriously down after misadventures with cointerra and cex.io

It is the simple difficulty!

Perhaps you'd like to get PBM to confirm that for you ? You could then repost their reply here rather than presuming to tell me what you don't actually know about their operation !

Why on earth would they refuse to accept money?

It was there at least 12 hours ago and may have been

longer, hadn´t checked it:

Can somebody please explain to me how Jason is not being victimized?
Customers have not been ripped off, yet he is receiving a large number of death threats.  He has received some very unreasonable demands and it will be impossible to make everyone happy.  As far as law enforcement is concerned, there will be a statement made and the threats & blackmail messages will be shown to them.

Did you know?: Most of our hash power comes from other sources.  We are now specialized in the resale of cloudmining contracts through our associates!

no dumbass - you fucking moron - all payouts are based on gh owned not btc mined ---all payouts ever were 99% .. if they were based on mined than there would be weeks with greater than 99% payout - i have been here  way longer than you - what i say is what the payouts are to be - if you didnt know that then you just proved you have no clue what you are talking about

Oh look, it's a caveman  Grin
These people wouldn't do that sort of archaic thing, this is Mining 2.0, everyone's an Investor these days, busy maximizing their diversified portofolios.
The cloud is where it's all at these days, aptly defined in Websters as:  "something that obscures or blemishes".

maybe J would like to comment on a few things, like the blockkchain.info site.
All this is a result of lack of transparency.
