I would be wary of any service offering to do this mate. Paypal to BTC or BTC to Paypal in any rate is considered taboo. Especially since they are a closed system, it goes against the whole cryptocoin principle. Paypal also doesn't like to deal with any sort of coin exchanges through their "service" and won't support you if the transactions go pear shaped. I have heard stories of people having their accounts banned for doing coin exchanges. Best to convert into fiat currency and then move it to Paypal.

You can safely and easily sell your BTC for PP on localbitcoins.com just use someone with a very high reputation.  You can get a pretty good price for them but not as good as on an exchange so not "'free".

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

You want somebody to buy your BTC with PP? I'm sure there will be plenty of people who will do this, but you're very likely to get scammed.

I have sold a lot of BTC for PP on localbitcoins.com and have never been scammed there.  I only use people with over 100 trades and a 100% satisfaction rating.  There are a lot of reputable vendors that meet this criteria on localbitcoins.com.

I meant on here really, but I've not used PP on LB. How does it work and what safeguards is there to stop you from being scammed?

Well the buyer is protected because any BTC you want to sell go into escrow.

The seller is only protected by the trust rating system.  I figure if someone has done over 100 PP trades they won't charge back - so it goes back to trust.  So far so good anyway.

I would simply say NO

Someone who makes a Paypal payment can simply reverse it once the bitcoins have been transferred. There are no safeguards
