I cant for the life of me get two of these above 500 each, everywhere I see people getting 620+ easily

Do I need to change the firmware?

GPULoad on one card is low o.O TC too high?

Search that thread, try any appropriate bios, or ask in the thread for your own to be modded.

try this:
 1150/1450 core/memory clock speed
 Thread Concurrency - 24000
 Workload - 256
 gpu-threads - 1
 lookup gap - 2
 Intensity - 19
 gpu-powertune - 20

or

gpu-threads - 2 , and low TC - about 8192

worked like a charm, no amount of configuring could fix that
