I don't know what it means (yet), but you're right, some more people need to join the pool. You can still hit blocks with low hashrates, but it is a little difficult.

Correct as it is stated in the beginning:

Users that already add 'KlondikeCoin - KDC - Join the Gold rush!' will receive 2 extra KDC coins. (of course only for new miners)

Point 2 is not 100% correct as we want to split out the miners over several pools so they should be mining at http://kdc.hashwithme.com/index.php, but if they prefer to mine at other pools then it is will be ok too. The important point here is to reduce risk of 51% attacks, so we need a few strong pools not just one or two, because when one is down then we have problems....

Also miners, mining at a lower hashrate pool doesn't mean that you will EARN less coins, you will find LESS blocks but your coins that you receive per block will be MUCH higher!!

I had something like 40 coins in 30 mins with 3Mh/s!!!! And you hit a block with a pool of 1Mh/s so your earning are better then mine at the moment. So people you can see, mining at a smaller pool is certainly INTERESTING!!!! New miners please join us.
