Me too, I can't figure out how to un-encrypt the wallet. I checked on forums about other cryptos with POS, did the debug stuff (walletpassphrase mypassword 9999 true) and it doesn't work.

If someone could help that would be great.

Actually my wallet is not encrypted (as I start it for solo mining)., With other POS coins I was not able to obtains POS mining when I have the wallet encrypted, even if I use the true options for decrypt the wallet for minting

And do you think I'm therefore screwed for the minting part ? It would be really too bad, as I'm starting to have some Teslhappiness going on...

Devs ? Anyway to make it work after having encrypted the wallet (on mac) ??

And also, I would like to add other thoughts on an other topic concerning Tesla :

I think we should start something guys : we need to make this coin publicly known. I've been betting on this coin since the first days, I want it to succeed, willing to put some effort into it.

I think we should get together (tesla miners and holders) on the IRC or a forum and talk about what we could do to make this coin succeed the way it should.

Together we can make this happen !!

If anybody interested, contact me here or on pm, let's see what we can do !

I you start
 coind walletpassphrase xxxxx 100000 true

with xxxxx the password of wallet, it should be what let POS happening even with encypted wallet (so far for other coins I don't generate POS, but maybe it is the coin that generate few POS)

"
Thank you for your answer, but when I do it with my password I get : "Method not found (code -32601)"

When I write the same line, without the "coind" in the beginning, I get : Error: value is type int, expected bool

I tried a bunch of different ways to type the code, it just doesn't work...

Just so you know, I tried all those lines in the debug window of the wallet, maybe there is another way, who knows ?

Any Idea ?

sorry, coind is a common abbrevetion to say to run the daemon for the coin (not the wallet), so in this case it will be: teslacoind (the wallet must be running when you lanch the daemon)

This works for me: walletpassphrase MYPASSWORD 9999999 in the debug console, with server=1 (rpcuser= and rpcpassword= too ofc) in the .conf file.

Teslacoin main engine ignition on Mintpal.

+1

Glad to see that finally TES went back on its track !

It's crazy how much people just missed this coin ! But now a bunch of traders saw the interest in it, which is IMO a good thing, we'll see more miners, more trading volume, more activity.

With activity plus a little announcement from the devs, this coin is gonna grow big !

Teslacoin main engine ignition on Mintpal.

100 Satoshis more and it will pop up on marketcap radar at an opening gain of 150% and yet a miniscule cap of $42,000.

That's the smell of blood for the circling crypto-reptilian piranha shoals.

It's there ! Number 100.

I was off by $6000. It's on the radar with a cap of $48 and a "green light" of +38%.

Sharks will smell blood now. Hodl.
