Anyway we need to wait until "4 of July 2018 (12:00-18:00 UTC) - fork date (Ethereum blockchain snapshot)".

It's true to wait until a hard fork arrives. If this is a good project of course the involvement of exchanges will greatly help the exereum.

If that's the plan, seems like we still have more than 2 weeks to prepare some eth. Especially for now that eth price is down, so we can buy eth while holding it and get Exereum. There is no harm in doing it while waiting for eth prices rise again, but stay cautious with unknown exchange places.
