Difficulty is officially below 1. Seems like a dead coin..

As it's not fair to judge the success of a firm after two daysweeks, I would avoid to judge foxcoin too quickly.
Most of the altcoin I saw was: quickly mined by huge miners, quickly integrated on some good exchange places, quickly selled, quickly dead.

The time for hungry pumpers is now off. Because it's not following this standard dying process.
That means that everybody now can easily mine it (or dig it if we follow the fox terminology).
Everybody can contribute to the network, be thanked by their help, the money will be not owned by few people but with a lot of contributors. This is a really good situation for a stable economy.

What is missing now is the interface of this economy: exchange places, services.

Moreover, yes the foxcoin team is probably smaller than coins like dogecoin. It is doing less noise but I now that they work activly. This is a real difference compared to other coins where the creator writes one introduction post, and then disappear.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Dear all FoxCoin participants - loyal or not loyal,

It seems that people seem to think this coin is dying. The difficulty is below 1, pawrate below 75MH/s, etc. I must disagree. This coin has never been more alive. How is that possible you ask? X Coin has Y GH/s!

Well there is your problem. Judging a coin by the amount of pawrate and difficulty on the network is silly - why? Well think about it. Go on a forum, talk to people on IRC, whatever... ask them one question "What are you going to do with your coins" the answer 95% of the time will be "sell them when the coin peaks" or "sell them as I get them" or simply "sell them" or "dump them" - for this is the reason 95% of people dig cryptocurrencies. All they see is fiat money. But not with FoxCoin. It simply isn't profitable to dig this coin with the current prices.

So the whales (big pawers) left. And what was left was the believers, maybe a few people taking advantage of the low difficulty, but mostly us, the believers. Weather we are wrong or not, we have something that very few coins have, a diverse group of minnows with lowish paw speeds. No whales. Few pump 'n dumpers. This group is steadily increasing as the numbers trickle over, and the last of the p&d'ers leave.

So to be very honest, anybody actually worried about the lowish pawrate: your fear is unfounded. From here we innovate, promote, and get TO THE CORE!

I'm just watching the launch of another coin - the MAX and it's a total failure. I remember how smooth and precise and fair was the launch of FOX. This really makes some difference. So I DO believe FOX is more than alive. And even if it won't be that supported however it is a real pleasure to be a part of this truly fair community.

I've been saving FOX up for a while. I love the way the difficulty calculates. I'm hoping someday I can buy food with them!

I've just started mining some Fox coins as it looks like a promising currency.

Can someone confirm my expected hashrate with cgminer.

so I have a 7950 that I've got at Intensity 11 and i'm getting 170khash?  Is that right?  How many FOX per day will that earn me?

Can I put the intensity up?  anything over 13 will crash....i'm not used to these new updated scrypt coins like vertcoin and foxcoin, usually mine LTC/DOGE etc etc

It seems a little low for this GPU, even with low intensity. It's the same as with LTC. With current difficulty (which changes per block), you can get over 5 foxcoins per khash per day - a rough estimation.

thanks, I thought Fox was like VTC coin where you had to lower intensity and hashrates?  On the pools it says to lower intensity to 11 for some reason?  I've just put intensity back to 17 and have 560khas on my 7950 and 320khash on my 7850

Good free and easy Bitcoin Faucet thingy: https://freebitco.in/?r=9293711
Do not invest in HYIPs people, however you can put some into iCenter: https://t.me/icenter_bot?start=j5t25s58148

All this talk... Does it mean that Foxcoin is going to fork in order to revive it? Please don't mess up like CAT.

As for the adaptive N-Factor, implement it in blocks instead of a scheduled time. Would make a lot more sense but it'd also be a big F U to the miners who start mining Foxcoin again. Too big of a change as it'll make it into a whole new coin if you ask me. But please don't make it crazy and kill GPUs..

Remove the '.rpc' after the username.
Press 'update statistics' to remove the placeholder statistics. The difficulty statistic has not been finished yet and will read zero.
EDIT: Also, you separated 127.0.0.1 and 9919 into their respective boxes, correct?

Of course. But I just thought I'd put them together. Still isn't solo mining though. My .conf file is as follows:
