Dogecoin has been riding high on coinwarz.com for weeks - as silly as it is. But for the long run just keep an eye on coinmarketcap.com. Dogecoin is actually #9 with 24 million. So much for an internet joke.

I keep most of my money in BTC and LTC, but keep some coins in all the other alt coins.

MTC marinecoin is a hard to get coin that''s why it will increase in value

the commonwealth coins will be crypto locked even the developer will not have access to them, then the price will definetly go up.

coinye ftw  Grin
Yeah coinye is so hot no exchange dares to touch it, because they afraid of getting sued by cain West, like the one exchange that did trade coinye, but shut down after the lawsuit.

I heard some folks now wanna set up a peer to peer exchange, so you can trade altcoins without an intermediate website that can be put under legal pressure. dont know how exactly that is supposed to work, but it is an interesting idea a peer to peer altcoin exchange

Hot"t"est?...Depends on the individual and that question is all relative anyway. Us newbies barely squeaking out 1MHash/s don't have many options really. DOGE is a favorite of mine right now and yes, as some others have commented, it's gaining popularity. I simply appreciate and respect the concept of crypto currency, as you will see in one of my favorite quotes from THE MAN...TJ...

In terms of which coin is the hottest, I think doge is the clear winner just because the hype around it is blowing up at a crazy rate. The difficulty is so crazy now though that it is tough to get through mining, I think the hash rate is something like 60% of the hash rate going to litecoin. So from a mining perspective I'm having fun with the newer coins like USD-e and Noblecoin. It's nice hitting those blocks all the time and the exchange rates are surprisingly good at this point.

Honestly I'd say nextcoin and NEM to be the hotest atm. Although that can change quite fast.

Hottest to me means which coin will have the highest %rise in the near future. People say innovation is very important but the market tells a different story. People like Dogs and Cats. Hottest coin Kittehcoin, new relaunch+ block halving+ more marketable+China+ Max Keiser. Expect huge gains in the near future.
