When i bought my first btc the price of bitcoin at that time was around 200-220 USD .i buyed that from Igot.com which is pretty much dead exchange right now and its not recommended but ya that was my first time and i bought around 0.04 for the first time

I bought a bit more lower cost i bought when it was around 170$ for the first time and i bought around 0.1 btc . So approximate 1100INR i bought 0.1 btc to invest them in a cloudmining site and that scammed just after i invested there

0.001 mined using iMac was the first time I held bitcoins - in april/may 2013

I'm sure you must have mined more ... don't tell me you stopped  ... interesting to see it was mineable on a computer like 6-7 months ago .. i thought the transition would have been gpus if not the first asics 

Haha it took me 3 days to get that 0.001. i was using both cpu and gpu of iMac to get that. At that time 0.001 btc was about 5 INR so i obviously stopped.

You would have used Linux at that time ,it would have greatly benefited you.and what were u doing with gpu ?

First time was at 12 usd for 1 btc... but that was really long back, I had exchanged some gift cards for bitcoins at the time

Haven't brought but looking forward to it.i  got my bitcoin (.01) as mean of price when i won in quiz.but it is profitable if i buy alt coin with good profit rate in future.
