Hello ! As you can see Discus Fish is a major player on Bitcoin world. Is DF a private pool or a public one ? There is any info about the pool fee or how to join DF ?

It's a private pool, in that it's in China. You can probably join the pool if you move to China, become a Chinese citizen, and start a mining business.

Ah, nice to know. I'll update blockorigin to point to that site (I haven't been able to pinpoint that pool, but then again, I haven't had much time to work on blockorigin lately)

There's no such block. What were you trying to show? Bitcoind defaults to 750kb as the maximum block size and while we have some experimental ckpool instances mining larger blocks, I was not aware of any other pool doing so.

It was there when I posted the link. So must have been orphaned later. I did not imagine it.

Here's an example of a large block: https://blockchain.info/block-index/460100

I've done some digging around about f2pool since I have some miners on it. It looks like it is a mining pool associated with the SilverFish SCRYPT ASIC hardware maker. If you go to the Silverfish website, https://sfminer.com/Translate the website to English, then click on the Whitebait SOLO mine pool which takes you to http://sfasic.com/From there, it links you to the f2pool website and the ptspool website. The ptspool website also links back to f2pool from a link called "Go to Other Mineral Pools" I would conclude that f2pool is likely being run by Silverfish; but I could be wrong. Edit. Or I could go back and read the first post on their thread, sorry I read too fast sometimes. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=700411.msg7915080#msg7915080

There's already an official discus fish thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=700411.0 so there's no need for another thread, but I'm pleased they're mining full sized blocks. Hopefully they're not also mining zero transaction blocks as an optimisation. Locking this thread.
