1. Install chaincoind

2. Edit your chaincoin.conf file

rpcuser=<username>
rpcpassword=<password>
server=1

3. Run chaincoind and wait for it to sync

chaincoind --daemon

10. Start your masternode

chaincoind masternode start

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Hybrid server-assisted clients like Electrum get a lot of their network information from centralized servers, but they also check the server's results using blockchain header data. This is perhaps somewhat more secure than either server-assisted clients or header-only clients.

virus showing up at virustotal.. anybody confirm?

It is slightly new due to 11 algos so likely the included miner in the QT is being falsely flagged... it did not pop anything on my machines.

This is what the detection says it is...

"Suspicious.Insight is a detection for files that have not yet developed a strong reputation among Symantec’s community of users. Detections of this type are based on Symantec’s reputation-based security technology."

Is this all you do to mine?
should it do anything after you hit enter?

You check it is hashing by typing getmininginfo and hit enter...

That is your hashrate
